Osteria Porta di Bacco In Montepulciano

In giro per la Toscana con i cugini Brasiliani non poteva mancare di visitare Montepulciano, località molto turistica dove, in genere, si trovano solo ristoranti "per turisti". Ma non è questo il caso: accoglienza, location e cucina di ottima qualità. Personale professionale e gentilissimo, interno del locale molto caratteristico, materia prima di qualità e ottimamente cucinata, agnello ottimo, guancia fantastica, bistecca alla fiorentina degna del suo nome, pici fatti in casa al ragù deliziosi... ristorante consigliatissimo!

In genere, sul viale principale di un paese molto visitato, si trovano ristoranti "per turisti". Non è questo il caso: grande professionalità, ottima cucina e bella location a prezzo giusto

Nice place with rooms in the renovated cellars. Attached to the wine shop of the same name. Great food and friendly service. Gluten free options including "pici" pasta😋

Excellent restaurant in the historic center of Montepulciano with adjoining wine shop. We ate and drank well. Just a reminder to some older waiters who waste too much time chatting and forgetting orders. All recovered by the kindness and availability of a younger colleague who recovered the slip admirably. Overall very good. Thank you

Just as you enter into town, you are greeted by this location. It is also one of the first restaurants we ate at in Montepulciano years ago and we were in love from the beginning. They offer traditional Tuscan cuisine in a casual, yet elegant setting. The food is amazing, as well as the service. Mery, who we have known from previous visits, was so warm & welcoming. And Francesco took time to really listen so he could help us with our wine selection. They really made the experience fabulous! Of course the food is delicious as well. Lunch or dinner, this is worth visiting when you’re in Montepulciano. It’s a popular restaurant so it will fill up! The food here is a garden of flavours on these beautifully presented plates. We had an amazing, delicious dinner complemented by recommendations from the sommelier that hit the spot. Quiet, cozy atmosphere, delightful staff, and above all, incredible food.
