Excellent restaurant in a very picturesque location. Prices are moderately high, but we had an excellent local Florentine steak. The cheese appetizers were very good, and their baked potatoes deserve special mention. They were incredibly good! 🥰

Refined restaurant... a very welcoming owner who made us feel at ease... the waitresses were sweet and helpful, but above all professional. The dishes were well-served and everything was excellent. The owner's wine selection was excellent. Handmade pasta and homemade desserts. What can I say... nothing... I'll return... and to everyone I say... try it... you won't regret it... because the town itself is also worth a visit.

We stumbled upon Osteria Porcellum by chance during a brief visit to Bagno Vignoni, and it turned out to be an unforgettable discovery! We started with a simply excellent Sicilian caponata: balanced, fragrant, and with all the authentic flavors of the South. But the real star was the main course: tagliatelle with rabbit ragù, undoubtedly the best ragù I've ever tasted. Perfectly cooked, with an intense yet delicate flavor, a balance few can achieve. Even though we were just passing through, we've already promised ourselves we'd return just to eat here again.

We feared a touristy place, given its splendid location in the central square of Bagno Vignoni... instead, we found authentic Tuscan hospitality, authentic cuisine, generous portions, and a perfect Florentine steak (ordered rare, it was incredibly tender and didn't leave a trace of blood on the plate). The bill was very fair: a generous appetizer, a first course, a 1.3kg Florentine steak, a side dish, water, and a bottle of Brunello for €160.

Superb view, quiet location. Exceptional menu with regional products (cheese, charcuterie, Tuscan wine). Excellent service from a friendly, English-speaking waitress. I recommend it for those who enjoy simple, local cuisine.

We went for a dinner with friends, the place is framed in the suggestive center of Bagno Vignoni with the fantastic square with a thermal fountain. The surrounding landscape is beautiful and there are numerous and convenient parking spaces. Excellent selection of wines, appetizers a little small as all the dishes are not overflowing but just the right portions, the first courses are very delicate, we expected a more intense and decisive flavour. The recommended cheek is very good and the desserts are good. Average prices.

The location is adequate, though noticeably removed from the city's more vibrant and desirable attractions, which may pose a slight inconvenience for those wishing to explore the area more easily.
24/07/2025: Parking is available on site. Luggage is delivered to and from the room by a service. The complex consists of a 12th-century monastery and other outbuildings. The room is large, clean, and well-equipped. Personally, I missed having a wardrobe to unpack my suitcase. However, we were there for almost a week. Most visitors only stay two to three nights. The outdoor pool is absolutely fantastic. There are plenty of loungers, as long as they aren't double-booked by Americans (sun and shade). We didn't use the rest of the spa area; we were always out and about. The staff is nice and friendly. Breakfast is served on the terrace in good weather, and the selection is good. Now for the negatives: the dinner could definitely be better in terms of quality. We tried the food twice and were disappointed both times. The steak was tough for us, and the steak was tough for the next table two days later. One even went back to the kitchen. My pasta with ragu tasted more like a snack bar. I've been passionate about cooking authentic Italian food for years. I buy authentic Italian products. The food was a complete disappointment. We hadn't expected anything different. We weren't even asked for our opinion at checkout. Nobody seemed to care. Summary: Top-notch facilities and staff, dinner in the village or on the go.
