An Exquisite Gastronomic Experience Some friends and I recently had the pleasure of dining at Osteria Porcellum, and the experience was nothing short of exceptional. We had been recommended Osteria Porcellum by some acquaintances, and we thank them for their excellent recommendation. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with great warmth and professionalism by the owner, Stefano. His courtesy not only immediately put us at ease, but also transformed the evening into a convivial experience, enriched by a fascinating account of the Osteria's history and a detailed presentation of the menu. The real magic, however, began with the cuisine. Chef Giuseppe, a true professional with considerable international experience, was kind enough to personally come to our table. With passion and expertise, he explained the preparation and philosophy behind the dishes we had chosen: Appetizer: Selection of Val d'Orcia Cheeses First Course: Pappardelle with Wild Boar Ragù Side Dish: Baked Potatoes Dessert: Tiramisu Wine: Brunello di Montalcino The quality of the ingredients is superb, and Chef Giuseppe's skill in transforming them into excellent dishes is undeniable. The pappardelle, in particular, were sublime, and the Brunello di Montalcino paired perfectly. The evening was truly enjoyable thanks to Stefano's welcome, the superb quality of the products, and, of course, Chef Giuseppe's mastery. We will certainly return with immense pleasure. Beautiful location, right in Piazza delle Sorgenti, where the tables overlook. The interior is well-kept. The owner and chef welcomed us and gave us excellent advice. Everything was truly excellent.

Excellent tavern with typical Tuscan dishes

We came across this place almost by chance, a comfortable and GENUINE place next to the main square of Bagno Vignoni, mixed appetizers with crostini and excellent quality cold cuts, exceptional tagliatelle with rabbit, very good pici with black cabbage pesto, ribollita as it once was ♥️, soft and tasty tagliata with exceptional baked potatoes, homemade desserts. Good selection of 🍷 wine at honest prices. The chef Giuseppe is truly well-prepared, friendly and present in the dining room to satisfy customers. Highly recommended osteria!
