Love this restaurant, feels like home, very cozy. Food delicious, service excellent. Mushroom risotto, so good, close my eyes and float away, heaven food. The blues music is so good. AA++ Note to self: potatoes and chocolate souffle 🙂

Food was great, but the service was even better. The gentlemen (maybe the owner?) who took our order and served our dishes was extremely nice and made the whole dining experience very enjoyable.

A superb meal. A warm welcome on our arrival, with a small aperitif offered to start the evening. A waiter who made the effort to speak French (while we spoke English, but we greatly appreciate this attention), a typically Italian setting (don't be fooled by the neighborhood)... everything for a delicious meal! In terms of dishes, we can sum it up in one word: delicious! From antipasti to desserts, everything won us over! We will come back!

Congratulations for the kindness, cleanliness and friendliness of the manager Manlio and all the staff (room, kitchen, bar) of this splendid place. I recommend it with all my heart...It's really worth it. Food, desserts all excellent, delicious.. Thank you!

Gastronomia il Giglio

09/04/2025: Arrivato con amici all'ora di pranzo. Ma è una gastronomia! Non ti preoccupare mi dicono gli amici, mangerai come in un bistrot. Assolutamente vero e con grande piacere. Salumi toscani più che ottimi, anche una bresaola di hangus super; patè di fegatini su pane integrale buonissimo; parmigiana di melanzane divina, bella "unta", ma per una volta si può fare; una schiacciata toscana appena sfornata accompagna queste prelibatezze. Un risotto ai peperoni da replicare e un'abbondante lasagna al forno. Un'ottima cantina, anche di "vino della casa". Magari i prezzi non sono da Light Lunch, ma non importa farlo tutti i giorni di lavoro. Locale piccolissimo, conviene prenotare.
