It's worth trusting the positive reviews and visiting this place. Here, you can enjoy small sandwiches with various cold cuts (including a delicious giant mortadella!) and a coffee or local wine. Reasonable prices and a charming terrace by the river.

The atmosphere is very rustic, but it feels like you're entering a place where everyone is friendly.

Very cool place with lots of regional products. Local wines at reasonable prices, crostinis that not only look delicious but also taste fantastic. Friendly service, everything is just right here, authentic Italy!

It's an osteria, which means it's very traditional and everything is more welcoming. I didn't see many foreigners here; it was mostly locals. It was a friendly atmosphere, with people who already knew each other. I liked it for that reason, and because the giant mortadella they have inside is iconic; you have to go see it and try it. The tapas or bruschetta they offer are good. The wine is a very common, inexpensive wine, nothing specialized, but it's understandable because it's more popular.

First time in Udine, my friends brought me here... I was in love, but I didn't buy the restaurant's t-shirt because I needed an excuse to come back 😂 But with Pierimortadele, there are no excuses other than being a lover of good food, good drinks, and an atmosphere that makes you feel like you're in a place from another era.
Save me an L/XL, I'm coming back! 😂
