The best last supper you can have before heading to the Grimaldi Lines Via Crucis. Comfort food, Abruzzo and homemade cuisine, was perfect. Montepulciano wine, fried pizza with lardo, primo piato del giorno magnifico, and the sheep skewers were delicious. A typical Abruzzo dessert with Amarena ratafia. Impeccable, friendly service. I don't want to leave Sardinia, but at least I'm leaving with a perfect last supper. The place is impeccably clean. Update: We returned a year later to Sardinia, and here as our last supper, and I agree with everything; this restaurant is wonderful.

Highly recommended! It's a somewhat hidden place, located in a remote area of the city center, so don't be fooled by the facade. Inside, a place where you can enjoy wonderful food at a very good price awaits you. The owner is charming and always willing to recommend the best. I will definitely return during my stay in Sardinia. And I hope I can return to Sardinia just to enjoy these amazing dishes again. Don't miss the sheep skewers... they're amazing!

Pietro and Gabriella always make you feel welcome and are incredibly kind and helpful. It's a shame I can't give them even higher ratings because both the food and the service are top-notch. Try it, you won't regret it!

I'd give it more stars if I could! I've dined at Trattoria Piega several times, so what can I say other than that I'd go there every day? I highly recommend going there because you'll be amazed by the undeniable quality of the products (it feels like you're in Abruzzo), not to mention the genuine warmth, passion, friendliness, and kindness that distinguish the owners. Eat everything because it's all simply delicious.

We're back for the second time in just one week, and that should say it all! When you find a place like this, it's impossible not to want to return. We started with an extraordinary appetizer: a fried pizza with cured meats that, as a Neapolitan, I can say without hesitation is on par with the best pizzerias in Naples. Light and with high-quality cured meats, it's truly a masterpiece. Then we moved on to fresh homemade pasta, fragrant focaccia, and spectacular, tender, and flavorful arrosticini. Everything was prepared with great care and served in a welcoming, family-friendly atmosphere. But the real added value is Pietro and Gabriella, who make this osteria even more special: incredibly friendly, genuine, and exceptionally hospitable. They offered us side dishes and let us try ratafià, a delicious liqueur that rounded off the meal in style. Our only regret? We were so full we couldn't eat dessert... And above all: having to go home and not being able to come back here more often leaves us feeling a bit melancholy 🥹

This osteria is located in a quiet area, so at first you might think you've made a mistake. But as soon as you walk through the door, you enter a place with a special charm that completely envelops you. The restaurant is very charming and beautifully presented. We were greeted by Pietro, charming, super friendly, and super smiley, which is an incredible introduction. He recommended several items from the menu; we let him advise us, and he was 100% right. We had the truffle pasta, the skewers, the stewed meat, and another fresh pasta with vegetables. Everything was exquisite!! We went with our children, who also thoroughly enjoyed it! We also ordered some starters and for dessert, the lemon mousse and the typical dessert from their region—exquisite! Finally, Pietro treated us to a house liqueur that was delicious with a cherry caramel flavor ☺️. And let's not forget Gabriela, the creator of all the dishes, who comes out to say hello and test the food with extreme kindness and attention. We'll definitely be back if we're in Sassari again. 100% recommended!
