Characteristic place, dated environment, the real strong point is the cuisine, very tasty dishes and generous portions at a reasonable price. Better to book to find a place. The innkeeper is a truly original and nice guy. I will definitely go back for their famous pizzoccheri.

I've already been to eat their pizzoccheri twice and they are fantastic, it feels like eating in a very familiar place inside an old courtyard, definitely worth trying

Reference tavern for local food, the pizzoccheri are a must every time I come back here.
I discovered the tavern with former colleagues in 2019, I continue to go back when I can and it's always a guarantee, when I want to take someone for a good and typical meal in the Varese area it's a fixed stop!
Really honest prices and value for money among the highest of the places I have visited here in the area.

Tutto perfetto, pizzoccheri su tutto, forse un pelo meno superlativi i secondi... anche perché, ritengo, il 95% dei clienti esce satollo e appagato da antipasti, primi, contorni, vino (ottimo) e dolci. Proprietari eccezionali, personale gentilissimo, bagni pulitissimi. Altro punto di forza i prezzi.
