I went on Saturday night.
There were six of us, and no one knew the place. We chose it more out of curiosity about the name. "I thought it was worse," very curious. It was an excellent choice. The staff was polite, helpful, and friendly. The food was excellent, and the price was good too. Highly recommended.

"Clothes don't make the man"
As soon as we arrived, we said to ourselves, "Oops, we made a mistake this time."... but the name "I thought it would be worse" is spot on. We ate very well at a fair price. The quality/price ratio was more than excellent.

My two-word review: I expected worse! Don't be fooled by the exterior location: step inside without hesitation and prepare to enjoy excellent, authentic Apulian food. Mr. Angelo, with his passion, will explain the characteristics, origins, and unique features of the ingredients used. I'm sure I'll be back and bring friends. Recommended!

My husband and I went for dinner last night, enticed by the positive reviews. Our expectations were more than met. Everything was truly delicious, with top-quality ingredients cooked to perfection.
The service, which accompanied and advised us throughout the dinner, was also excellent.
We will definitely be back.

It's been a long time since I left a restaurant so satisfied.
I was here with my wife and we were truly impressed: typical Apulian cuisine made as it should be, with the highest-quality ingredients. You can really taste the research and passion behind it.
We started with spectacular mussels: full of seafood flavor, incredibly fresh... truly top-notch. Then I asked the waiter (exceptional!) for some advice: very kind, very friendly, and also a great salesman, he really knows how to guide you in your choice. I had the chitarrine with burrata, basil, cherry tomatoes, and shrimp... a world-class dish, one of the best dishes I've had in recent memory.
Excellent wine (at very fair prices, by the way) and impeccable service.
We also tried the tiramisu... and I have to say: it took me back to my grandmother's. Spectacular, truly made the way it used to be.
The owner is super down-to-earth, friendly, and also very stylish; he makes you feel right at home. The place itself isn't particularly well-crafted, but the atmosphere is welcoming and familiar, and that's what really matters.
In short: everything was top-notch.
I'll definitely be back, even if I'm not a local.

Excellent seafood dinner for two. Everything was delicious, both the starters and the grilled fish, and the fish was fresh. We also appreciated the little touches, like the more intimate table, the homemade taralli offered while we waited for our starters, and the quality Apulian Peranzana olive oil, which was also excellent on its own with Altamura bread. The staff and owner were very friendly. The prices were fair. We'll definitely be back.

Emilio is a surefire winner. His friendliness, helpfulness, and experience make him an excellent host, where he'll recommend every dish and guide you from start to finish, along with his wife in the kitchen and his right-hand man in the dining room. Everything is delicious: homemade pasta, Apulian olive oil, local bread, and excellent fish dishes. Highly recommended.
