Good food and great location in the middle of the market.

We have eaten both lunch and dinner at this restaurant. Both times we have been greeted by friendly staff and a pleasant and attentive owner. On both visits we have been well taken care of. The staff were both attentive and quick to carry out our orders and requests. During the lunch visit, we ate a plate of cheeses and cured meats. If there is something we would like to cut back on, it is the selection of cheeses and cured meats that are served. We know very well that Italy and Tuscany have a lot of exciting things to offer here that are experienced as more exciting than what we were served. It should also be said that my husband works in the sale of both cured meats and cheese, so we are quite spoiled for good products from before. The Bellini, however, was very good!! For dinner we ordered bisteccha. According to the owner, these pieces of meat are stored for 2-3 weeks before they are prepared and served to customers. You could really tell! The meat we were served was perfectly cooked and tasted delicious. It was also incredibly tender and flavorful! The best bisteccha we have eaten on our trips to Italy! Really recommended! We were also recommended an excellent wine to go with the food. The wine was round and good, like velvet in the mouth. Yet also strong enough to go perfectly with the meat.

Great place to eat inside the amphitheater. The setting is already characteristic in itself, the dishes reflect the Tuscan tradition, with a few hints of innovation. As a Lucca native I can say very good!

Positive experience👏👏👏 we had lunch there on Easter day, a few days ago, experiencing, in addition to excellent service, the courtesy of the owner and enjoying quality dishes at moderate prices, excellent first courses, also based on truffles and delicious meat dishes, .....I will return and I highly recommend it

Very warm welcome, excellent food, and in a magnificent square! The prices are quite fair. We recommend it!

A cena sotto una pioggia battente, ma arrivati al locale i si apre una location molto particolare ( una chiesa sconsacrata, con soffitti altissimi e quadri alle pareti. Il personale molto affabile, il padrone di casa, Filippo, ti fa sentire un amico nonostante tu l'abbia conosciuto pochi minuti prima. Intenditore di carne e di vini, ci tiene all'immagine e alla clientela, e si vede. Preso bruschette e carne alla griglia ( degna di nota ). Conto adeguato . Ci ritornerò volentieri, anche perchè devo portare ad assaggiare il Nebbiolo a Filippo
