A traditional Turin osteria. The food is good, although I wasn't entirely impressed with the meat and dessert (though they were excellent). The place is small but comfortable, and the service is attentive and fast. The price is too high for what you get.

We chose this restaurant on a whim. We sat outside with a view of the theater stage because of the festival in honor of Bernhard von Baden. A very good rabbit dish and a small beef-filled dumpling sprinkled with Parmesan cheese. For starters, we had tartare with delicious truffle cream and red table wine. Breadsticks were served complimentary. Everything was delicious and the service was friendly and quick. And the view of the theater performance was excellent. This restaurant is HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

Delightful location overlooking the beautiful Piazza Vittorio Emanuele in the historic center of Moncalieri. Excellent menu and very kind staff. I recommend 😉

5 stars! friendly and polite staff. good typical dishes. excellent wine. prices normal. if you eat well it is normal that the cost is appropriate for what you eat. I felt good. I ate and enjoyed it. super recommended. p. s. they can also prepare dishes outside the menu for children.

Abbiamo scelto l’Osteria Papi per un pranzo di famiglia ed è stata una bellissima esperienza. Il locale si affaccia sulla bellissima piazza nel centro storico di Moncalieri. Visto il tempo variabile abbiamo pranzato all’interno in una delle caratteristiche salette con volte a mattoni che creano un’atmosfera calda e accogliente. Ottimo il cibo della tradizione tipica piemontese presentato anche con grande cura e originalità. Il personale è stato di una particolare cortesia per cui lo possiamo raccomandare assolutamente!!

The place is a "gem", but the staff in the room are highly apathetic. At times even downright irritating. The tables were tiny and we had to put the frappeuse on the floor! The first greeting was: since you arrived late you have to eat quickly... and I would like to point out that during the booking phase it was not communicated that there were 2 shifts. It's a shame because the place and the food are good... but the staff are all kids and the bossy boss treats some customers with a lack of humility. Change the staff and we will be back!! And possibly take action for better service next to the table, you can't smell the wine on the floor...

23/09/2025: Comfortable bar with an excellent selection of sweet and savory treats. Both indoor and outdoor seating is available. Table service and very friendly staff are provided. Conveniently located on a busy road, parking isn't always available.
20/08/2025: A well-kept, clean, and very welcoming place. The extremely friendly staff makes you feel right at home. Not to mention the food. Delicious homemade pizzas, focaccias, and cakes! An excellent choice for a healthy lunch in a quiet village.

08/09/2025: Great potential, but unfortunately the place is run by inexperienced people, and the service is slow and inconsistent. The other places in the center are also neglected and have a sense of abandonment, likely due to the area's crime problem.
