We arrived by chance with our two children (4 years and 8 months), and were greeted by a beautiful and authentic place, with even more beautiful and authentic staff.
Kind, attentive, and friendly with adults and children alike. Delicious food. When I return to Rome, I'll remember those trofie al pesto! (Oh, and a bathroom with a changing table.)

A very nice osteria with very friendly staff and good food... very good value for money....
Opens at 7 p.m.... Highly recommended if you're visiting the historic district of Genoa.

Very friendly service, excellent food. The dark chocolate cake is perhaps the tastiest thing I've ever tasted. I'm not exaggerating, because I actually went blind and deaf while eating it. The meat dishes are also worth trying; from the daily specials, we loved the suckling pig with porcini mushrooms. The professional waiters are always attentive to their customers!

We found this place getting lost on the way to another place and goodness was that a BLESSING! We came to eat here twice on our trip (and might even go back for a third 🤗) The lovely and super helpful Pamela was our amazing server both times (excellent suggestions from her) and their Truffle Parmesan Gnocchi Special brought me to actual tears. Actual. Tears. The service (owners were SO kind!) , drinks, the focaccia, the atmosphere- all matched my dreams of Italy. As newly weds, we hope to come back on our 5th, 10th, and 20th anniversaries 🤍 If you are looking for “that place” in Genova, eat here♥️🥰
