Very friendly service, excellent food. The dark chocolate cake is perhaps the tastiest thing I've ever tasted. I'm not exaggerating, because I actually went blind and deaf while eating it. The meat dishes are also worth trying; from the daily specials, we loved the suckling pig with porcini mushrooms. The professional waiters are always attentive to their customers!

A very nice osteria with very friendly staff and good food... very good value for money.... Opens at 7 p.m.... Highly recommended if you're visiting the historic district of Genoa.

We found this place getting lost on the way to another place and goodness was that a BLESSING! We came to eat here twice on our trip (and might even go back for a third 🤗) The lovely and super helpful Pamela was our amazing server both times (excellent suggestions from her) and their Truffle Parmesan Gnocchi Special brought me to actual tears. Actual. Tears. The service (owners were SO kind!) , drinks, the focaccia, the atmosphere- all matched my dreams of Italy. As newly weds, we hope to come back on our 5th, 10th, and 20th anniversaries 🤍 If you are looking for “that place” in Genova, eat here♥️🥰

Dropped in for a little bite before everything's closing at 3:00. Had a very unique ravioli that was stuffed with cod and squid ink with pesto. Very vibrant looking. Very rich. The aperol Spritz we had was refreshing and they served a little appetivo with olives crustinies, couple slices of focaccia and some bread.

A very nice little osteria. We were lucky and managed to get a table. Both our dishes were very good. The fish was very tasty. The service was very friendly, a little distracted, but that wasn't a problem.

04/08/2025: The most enjoyable breakfast of our trip. The pastries are fantastic, the croissants too, and the coffee is worthy of Italy. The owners are lovely; they even made the effort to speak English with us. It's a real place to live where you can listen to classical music.

02/07/2025: An experience to remember I went to Trattoria Carlito and, although the service was a bit slow, understandably, given that there was only one person in the room, the kindness and professionalism with which I was welcomed made the wait completely acceptable. The food, simply, speaks for itself. I tried ravioli with saffron cream, shrimp, scampi and trumpet courgettes, truly sublime: a perfect balance of flavours and aromas, with a very successful combination. For dessert, a yogurt cake with red fruits, soft as a cloud. Despite the generous portion, not at all cloying. Light, fresh, perfect. I highly recommend this place to those who love good food. I will definitely be back, sooner or later. Thank you so much for the fantastic experience!
