Osteria Palazzo Barberini In Senigallia

We were visiting Senigallia and were looking for a place to have dinner in the evening, and we settled on this restaurant. We were drawn to the aesthetics—a truly charming and well-kept place, both inside and out, with outdoor seating. Soft lighting and a lovely atmosphere—no complaints there. I have a few complaints about the food; I'm not saying it wasn't good, but compared to other restaurants I tried here in the Marche region during my stay, it wasn't one of the best. We ordered the platter with Wagyu salami, focaccia, and sautéed Swiss chard, followed by the battered zucchini flowers filled with ricotta, and the gnocchi with fish. The focaccia was perhaps a little too dry, while the zucchini flowers were bland; the gnocchi were okay. Overall, it was good, but I wasn't 100% satisfied.

Thank goodness they exist! I had the best eggplant parmigiana of my life. Great wines, wonderful food, and a warm, welcoming atmosphere. Highly recommended.

Appena varcata la soglia, si respira un’atmosfera calda e familiare, dove ogni dettaglio racconta cura e passione. La qualità del cibo è semplicemente eccellente:ingredienti freschi e selezionati con attenzione, che valorizzano le eccellenze del territorio. Ogni portata è una scoperta di sapori autentici. Marco e Silvia sono l’anima del locale: due persone squisite, che con il loro sorriso e la loro disponibilità fanno sentire ogni ospite come a casa. La loro passione per questo lavoro si percepisce in ogni gesto e in ogni piatto. Un’esperienza da vivere e da consigliare, per chi cerca buon cibo e vera ospitalità.

Small place with meat, fish and a touch of originality. Among the proposals also the typical Marche cuisine, corrected and modernized with particular variations. Delicious appetizers and good local, Italian and foreign wines. Service a little slow, but always friendly.

Osteria Palazzo Barberini is a really nice place. As soon as you enter, you are immediately welcomed by the friendliness of the owners, who kindly accompany you into the small but welcoming room. The place is simple but very well looked after, with an atmosphere that makes you feel immediately at ease. The menu pleasantly surprised me. Each dish is prepared with fresh 0 km ingredients and you can see the care taken in the choice of raw materials. The cuisine manages to combine tradition and creativity, without exaggerating, but with that touch that makes the dishes truly interesting. They offer both meat and fish, but also a bit of originality which never hurts. Another thing that impressed me was the quality of the service. The staff is competent and friendly, ready to give you some good advice on wines (even natural ones) to pair with the dishes. Small note: I recommend booking because the place is always quite busy. I will definitely come back, because the experience was really positive.
