Typical Piacenza trattoria, just like it used to be... No "gurmet" here... genuine quality and everything locally sourced... not miles away. Highly recommended, take your time and book! A few dishes made like they were 100 years ago.

18/01/2026: What a delightful little place! It's nice to find someone still passionate about their work and sharing their love for their dishes... We're so glad we stopped by for lunch ♥️
07/01/2026: A great experience. The place isn't big, but the waiter is quite helpful and even explains the off-menu items and their prices (which has never happened before). The food is good, including horse meat. The wine selection is adequate, even in terms of price.

05/11/2025: A well-preserved and charming castle located a short distance from Piacenza, with 15th-century towers, a large internal courtyard with pleasant green spaces, and a perimeter moat. It often hosts events, including the interesting Fair of Ancient Fruits and Flowers, featuring displays of artisanal food and textiles. The only complaint is the restrooms, consisting of unhygienic cubicles that are inadequate for the high number of people attending the various events.
03/11/2025: I went for a fair and it was pleasant to walk around the large space around the castle. The whole thing is very characteristic.
