Went here with friends after a mountain bike ride. We had a great time, the cured meats are spectacular, as are the other dishes, everything authentic and delicious. The cheese selection is extensive, the house wine is good, and there are also a variety of options. It's perhaps a little pricey, but everything is really good, and the host is very friendly and welcoming. It's an old-fashioned osteria, where you feel right at home.

Osteria vecchio stampo, di quelle che ormai sono una rarità. Gianfranco, l’oste, ti fa sentire come se mangiassi a casa sua. Già dall’antipasto si chiacchiera tra tutti i commensali. Cucina della tradizione e ben curata. Prezzo onestissimo.

01/10/2025: What can I say, everything was good, the staff were friendly, the price was fair, it was a birthday.
22/09/2025: Typical and excellent cuisine. We recommend the fried polenta. Good wine served in bowls. They were kind enough to let us in late after our road trip. A very nice vacation surprise.

12/08/2025: Finding a good place to dine while wandering the Piacenza hills isn't difficult, but it's always a pleasure, especially on an August evening when finding an open restaurant can be more difficult. A delicious appetizer and buckwheat tagliolini with mushrooms, paired with a nice glass of chilled Lambrusco, brightened up the evening. A more than reasonable price and prompt service complete the pleasant experience.
