A very nice restaurant in the heart of Monti. The menu isn't very extensive, and I think the appetizer selection could be improved. The portions are adequate, and so are the prices. Overall, recommended for a standard Roman dinner.

Everything was excellent! On an exceptionally rainy Sunday in August 2025, we happened upon Via dei Serpenti and went to Osteria Oliva. What a surprise! The service was extremely kind and professional, and the food was high-quality, with truly successful reinterpretations of typical regional dishes. It will be our go-to place for future trips to Rome for us Turinese.

Decent food, carbonara a bit too cheesy (could be preference) ragu was tasty and nothing too oily.
Tad pricey wine, but tasty and refreshing. Selection of wines were fantastic, and higher end style food but still reasonable prices. Interesting antipasti, we liked the aubergine.
Tiramisu was brilliant - fresh homemade cream and sponge, regret sharing one - I could have smashed 2 on my own.
90 euro for water, wine, 2 antipasti and 2 pasta dishes, 1 desert (30 euro on wine… but our choice though👍)

The lasagna may not win awards, but it’s tasty and satisfying, and the staff are wonderfully kind. Spot is lovely as well.

We had a fantastic family dinner at Osteria Oliva! The staff was warm and welcoming, making our kids feel right at home. The lasagna was absolutely amazing — rich, flavorful, and perfectly cooked — and the chicken croquettes were a hit with everyone at the table. Cozy atmosphere, great service, and delicious food. Highly recommend for a family-friendly Italian dining experience!

Direi cibo di qualità e buon servizio.
La carta non é lunga, si ha poca scelta ma quello che offrono é fatto bene.
Rapporto qualità prezzo OK.
Un paio di euri in meno sul vino non farebbe male.
I dipendenti devo dire gentili e diponibili, sempre con il sorriso.
Ci tornerei senza i bambini però.
Tipica osteria Romana locale pulito dove ho trovato molta cortesia. Carbonara buona e ottimo vino. Pochi piatti ma fatti bene. Grazie
