Sunday lunch, nothing exciting, nice but neglected atmosphere, certainly not a sense of order and cleanliness, good food, small portions, high prices for what's on offer. Menu of typical dishes but a bit limited.

As tourists we followed Google reviews to Osteria Nunziatina and were rewarded with a magnificent dinner. For antipasto we had the “Half a mozzarella and eggplant pizza,” every bit of which was a taste experience, though I’m surprised to write that the bread crust with fennel seeds is what made the dish. My primo piatto linguine was equally delicious. We were quite full by this point and never made it to a secondo piatto. The friendly owner recommended a great red to complement our dinner. This wonderful dinner was a favorite from our 10 days in Southern Italy.

The four of us (my wife, my daughters, and I) went here for lunch on Saturday. The place is intimate, with about ten tables in a room adjacent to the kitchen. Although it filled up quickly, the owner managed orders and table service himself with care. ​Simple but stylish cuisine, and fair prices. After a cod appetizer, I tried the pasta, potatoes, and provola cheese, which I thoroughly enjoyed. It's just a shame the girls weren't too keen on the flavors. A great place for those seeking local products in a cozy atmosphere.

It's a must-visit place in Caserta. Everything was so tasty, full of genuine flavor and home-made dishes. It was the best mozzarella I've ever tried!

A sublime, unexpected, and truly surprising experience. We ate divinely, warming our souls. Excellent first courses and a coffee maker at the table. We'll stop by again on our next trip.

Exceptional experience for quality, courtesy, and value. The gnocchi alla sorrentina were delicious and plentiful. The pesto alla Nerano was equally delicious. Coffee made with a moka pot. The owner was very kind. We stopped for lunch on our way from Rome, before visiting the Royal Palace. Highly recommended. The service was prompt and professional. The red wine by the glass was also excellent. We will definitely be back. PS: Easy parking in Piazza Vanvitelli.

Welcoming...very good and home-made food

Nunziatina claims to be an osteria serving traditional cuisine, reinterpreting ancient recipes from the Campania region. The atmosphere is small but inviting. To start, we chose a platter of Nero Casertano cured meats and cheeses, and the choice turned out to be perfect: both the capocollo, culatta, pancetta, salami, pecorino, and sweet cheese were exquisite. For the first course, the pasta with potatoes and provola was very convincing; the only criticism was the size of the potatoes; a slightly smaller cut would have been preferable. The linguine, topped with capers, olives, and Vesuvian cherry tomatoes, was sumptuous in its deliberate creaminess. For dessert, the millefeuille with Annurca apples was delicious. A good glass of Piedirosso Sannita helped the fatigue of eating. The price was fair, the service could be improved. We'd happily return.
