Osteria Novecento In Todi

What can I say... we were looking for a restaurant to have lunch along the E45... not the usual autogrill so we relied on the navigator, we exited at Pantalla / Todi and after 4/5km we arrived in the middle of nowhere, on top of a hill with a wonderful view, you can see the whole valley, and right here there is a little house where it says, Osteria Novecento,... if you are in those parts go! It's worth it! Warm welcome, very relaxing environment and delicious food! The specialty is the grill but obviously since it is absurdly hot they did not light the fire but I imagine that it will be not only good but also suggestive.... compliments to the staff

What an all around perfect dining experience! The food was exceptional and the setting couldn’t be more beautiful. We enjoyed the steak, cacio e pepe, tortellini, beef tartare and many desserts. Everything was delicious! The service was excellent and you feel like you’re totally secluded with the most extraordinary views. This place is a gem!

Beautiful place, we ate outside, we could see the Umbrian hills and the sunset. Very nice food.

Easter lunch: an idyllic moment!!! Thanks to chef Stefano for his skill in the kitchen and to the team who served at the table for the courtesy, the smiles and the sense of "family" they conveyed!

The food is really good! Quality food! Make a reservation because it's small...about 40 seats!

Bastone e Carota: Le pietanze sono decisamente buone, cucinate con criterio ed esperienza. antipasti veramente gustosi. Ampia scelta sul menu. abbiamo preso per secondo un galletto e una grigliata di maiale: porzioni misere (mezzo galletto , ed per la grigliata di maiale : 1 salsiccia 2 stringhette e una costarella) … avevamo ancora appetito e abbiamo preso di nuovo due antipasti (oltre ai due già presi ad inizio pasto) la carne era cruda, l’abbiamo fatta cuocere ancora. Specificate sul menu la porzione per essere più chiari…. Verdure di stagione buonissime. Crostata di fichi e noci molto buona. Insomma, siamo rimasti delusi dalla carne sulla brace che dovrebbe essere il fiore all’occhiello! Servizio cortese. Torneremo per darvi un’altra opportunità; magari con i primi rimarremo più soddisfatti… Ps le porzioniiiiiii —— un pochetto più abbondanti per essere in linea col prezzo daiiii!!! Saluti

Fatto qualche chilometro fuori Todi, ci siamo ritrovati a pranzo in questo accogliente locale che all'ingresso ha subito la sua bella brace a riscaldare l'ambiente familiare. Molte proposte interessanti con piatti locali, anche rivisitati. Buonissimi gli strangozzi al sagrantino con cime di rapa e olive taggiasche ed il riso con melograno e tartufo. Per secondo flan di parmigiano e carne mista alla brace, buona la qualita delle carni e ben cotta...ma poteva essere un po' più abbondante! Buoni e assortiti i dolci. Prezzi da osteria, non di campagna.
