It was the first time we came to Siena and they recommended this tavern to us... we were pleasantly impressed by the kindness and attention of the staff. The quality/price ratio went well beyond our expectations, as lunch kept us satisfied for the whole day :P generous portions at modest prices... we took the house platter, pici alla Dado and a sliced rocket and cheese , with a side of handmade potatoes... all truly exceptional. Our stay in Siena couldn't have started better!

I hadn't been back there for years, as a university student it was 'lunch out', a couple of times a year. It was a pleasure to come back and always find good traditional cuisine!
Fantastic appetizer, peppery... excellent and tender meat (even if I prefer it "more" peppery).
Always a familiar, cheerful and courteous environment.
Prices are definitely higher than then, but it's worth it.

Rustic restaurant, good service, good food, familiar presentation, good prices, we will be back!! Very good service, not at the level of formalities and frills, but they do want to serve you well!! Great tiramisu!!!

We returned after a few years and found the same warm and friendly environment of the owners. Typical neighborhood tavern with a good choice of dishes, from polenta with beans and pork to Cinta Senese tagliatina, not to mention the desserts... When we return to Siena we will definitely come and visit you.

Beautiful tavern, rustic setting and free-range dishes! The Montalcino style peposo and the baked onions are really excellent! Very fast and super friendly and welcoming service. Very recommended

Questo locale RENDE FELICI.
Le persone..no, la Famiglia che trovate all’interno, l’ambiente e il cibo sono un qualcosa di magico: persone vere, cordiali, sorridenti. Il cibo è quello della tua infanzia (anche se non sei toscano), perché mangiarlo ti fa sentire coccolato ❤️
Polpette enormi, ma che si sciolgono in bocca; salumi e formaggi straordinari, carne di prima qualità, vino strepitoso e dolci che ti danno il colpo di grazia.
Vi abbiamo adorato, a prestissimo
