Great authentic restraunt! The staff was super friendly and helped explain the menu to my sister and i. We ordered the Pici and the Chicken and they both were amazing 10/10 would recommend!

Legit the best tiramisu I've had in italy in my search to find the best tiramisu! The food is excellent too. Recommend a reservation, but we didn't have an issue getting seated when they opened. There was already a long line forming right when they opened. Great pricing, too, for what you get!

📍 Location: Located in the historic center of Siena, less than 10 minutes walk from the Duomo.
🍝 Cuisine: Abundant portions and homemade flavours, just like "grandma's" cooking. Ideal for those looking for simple and authentic dishes, without modern reinterpretations.
🍷 Drinks: Simple but honest house wine, in line with the tavern atmosphere. We didn't ask for the wine list, but they should also have a small selection of local labels available.
🛋️ Atmosphere: Small, cozy environment with a very informal tone, with simple furnishings and a lively atmosphere. The audience is heterogeneous: from young to elderly, to passing tourists. The tables are quite close together, so at peak times it can get noisy, especially for those who are more sensitive to background chatter.
👨🍳 Service: Easy going and direct, in perfect tavern style. The staff is fast, sometimes a little hasty but still kind. Don't expect formality or particular attention, but efficiency and pragmatism.
💰 Price: Good value for money. We paid €25 each, taking a starter and a first course each, water and wine for 4 people. Honest for the type of proposal offered.
⭐⭐⭐⭐☆ Rating: 4 stars out of 5. Osteria Nonna Gina is a good choice for those looking for simple, abundant and traditional cuisine in a convivial and unpretentious atmosphere. Some details, such as the small space and the hasty service, may not please everyone, but overall the experience was quite positive.

Small tavern offering typical dishes of the area. A warm and familiar environment that knows how to amaze. The menu is hand-written as in a restaurant from times gone by, without specifications on the ingredients, but if you have special needs the staff is very kind and available to help.

Mayormente genial para mí. Restaurante cálido, acogedor y auténtico con excelente servicio. Para la comida - no disfruté mucho de la bruschetta. Cuando he probado esto en el pasado, los tomates han sido perfectamente condimentados, con pan más suave y sin queso. Los tomates estaban buenos pero no tan bien condimentados, mucho queso algo abrumador y el pan era bastante difícil de cortar. Los ñoquis estaban perfectos, con una salsa deliciosa. Los precios fueron aproximadamente promedio. Realmente disfruté de la parte principal, pero solo esperaba que la bruschetta fuera tan especial. Creo que vale la pena ir, solo mi consejo personal para seleccionar un entrante.

Fermandomi a pranzo in questa osteria, mi sono accorta che essa è scelta dagli abitanti di Siena per i loro pranzi conviviali. Penso che questo sia un indice inconfutabile di autenticità culinaria e anche di radicamento alla tradizione cittadina.
La cucina è semplice e genuina, l'ambiente accogliente e vivace, i prezzi sono davvero alla portata di tutte le tasche.
