In this place, time stands still. Everything moves more slowly. For quick, frenetic meals, or for those short on time, you'll have to choose elsewhere. This Osteria is a kind of food sanctuary. You eat while sampling dishes that seem starred due to the care the chef puts into them. The quality of the ingredients is top-notch. I've posted a photo of the menu from the day I was there, but it changes constantly with new dishes. If you want to treat yourself to a culinary experience, come to this place; you'll be amazed.

Fantastic! We ate at this restaurant on a Wednesday in November and loved every dish. We felt at home here, it's an intimate restaurant, and it was a truly wonderful experience. Everything was perfect.

I'd been here a few years ago and, having had such a great time, decided to return, and this time they met my expectations as well. The dishes were delicious, with unusual combinations that worked well. The restaurant is located in a small village, making it perfect if you're looking for a quiet and peaceful experience. They were also very accommodating with my gluten-free request, and I was able to accommodate even the pasta without any problems.

An unusual location, off the beaten track, in a tiny village, in a small square with a fountain for watering horses. The restaurant has its own personality, with courteous and discreet service and excellent dishes crafted with top-quality ingredients. The wine selection is limited, but there are ways to pair well with your food. Definitely worth a visit. Enjoy your experience.

09/06/2025: Stopped by for dinner and everything we ate was delicious from the caprese, risotto, beef and ricotta cheesecake! It was a beautiful spot as well. I highly recommend it if you are staying or stopping by Orvieto.

27/10/2025: On my way back from the Marche region to Rome, I happened upon San Gemini right around lunchtime, and after a quick search, I decided to try this restaurant. There are three of us. The atmosphere is rustic and tranquil, with an open fireplace in the entrance hall where they're busy cooking meat, and delicious aromas wafting from the kitchen. We order a first and second course. Grated truffle is featured in many of the first courses, as are grilled meats, soups, and cod. The dishes are few, but very well presented. Delicate cuisine with excellent flavors. Prices are high. Excellent service. We'll return to try other dishes and explore the wine list. Highly recommended.
23/10/2025: Authentic cuisine prepared very well. Even for those who prefer vegetarian alternatives this restaurant offers a decent array of options! Very friendly staff.
