We spent 2 days in Vicenza and had dinners at the Monelli tavern... Good food, welcoming and familiar environment... The staff at the top... The bill was normal..... Highly recommended 😉

Typical tavern in the immediate vicinity of the historic center. We tried some dishes on the menu and one turned out to be better than the other... including desserts! Very kind and professional staff. Super recommended!

I'm alone, sitting at the desk. Attentive, fast, helpful, friendly staff. Fast service, excellent food and wines. Nice people always come in, happy! Atmosphere consistent with the environment: warm and welcoming. I recommend what I took (first time), but I'm sure it's all excellent! TOP

Osteria at the gates of the Palladian basilica, has several tables both on the ground floor and in the basement, with exposed beams.
The restaurant presents itself well, the service is very friendly and the dishes, in addition to being aesthetically pleasing, are expertly cooked and the high quality of the raw materials is clearly perceived.
It offers traditional Vicenza dishes, revisited in a modern key, excellent for those who want to experience local cuisine from a different perspective.

Osteria serving typical Vicenza cuisine in the heart of beautiful Vicenza, a stone's throw from the Palladian Basilica. Located in an ancient room and historic walls, this tavern is an excellent point of reference for refined, tasty dishes served by well-trained staff. Varied menu including starters, first courses, second courses, side dishes and desserts. Excellent wine list by the bottle and by the glass. The waiters are always smiling and very helpful, the owner is a nice person. We tasted Catalan flan with lemon ricotta, beef tartare with chestnut cream and marinated pumpkin, potato gnocchi with black cabbage and smoked ricotta, cotechino with horseradish and Fiolaro broccoli, all accompanied by a classic Valpolicella. To finish, panna cotta and sweet wine. Honest prices for food quality, excellent presentation, refined combinations and taste. The place, if full, is a bit chaotic and the noise is quite high, the room is not too large. Reservations are absolutely recommended, especially on weekends. The menu changes often.
