Osteria Monacelle In Ostuni

An incredible experience... Delicious food, and the tiramisu is definitely worth ordering! A truly special meal.

Good tasty food. Great service and nice cosy atmospheric looking over the rooftops of Ostuni. The rabbit was excellent.

I found the food exquisite. The waiter was very friendly and pleasant. Outside on the terrace, only a few tables had the necessary shade to avoid succumbing to the heat. Also, there were flies and a wasp, which is why I gave the atmosphere two stars.

The service was excellent, as they moved us inside because it was too windy outside. However, the room echoed, fortunately there were only a few of us. The food was very good; we had three pasta dishes, three spritzers, a bottle of water, and a bottle of wine for around €100, which was very reasonable. (Note: the English translation of the menu is not always accurate.)

Excellent dinner on the terrace in the heart of Ostuni. Everything was delicious. In my case, the Murgia beef tartare and orecchiette with turnip greens.

Ostuni (Puglia) has a very beautiful historic center, with its stairways and typical Puglian products. I would like to make a comment about the road surfaces, which are slippery and therefore dangerous, especially for the elderly. And I don't dare to imagine what happens when it rains.

I went for dinner as a couple. We had a table on the terrace; it was a fairly breezy but pleasant evening. The service was excellent, and the dishes were well-received. We had a starter of ricotta-filled ravioli with ragù sauce. (See photo) For main courses, we had brasciole with tomato sauce and breadcrumbs, and lamb with cacio e pepe sauce, baked potato, and chicory (a little too bitter). (See photo) We had two glasses of local red wine, which were very good. Quite reasonable value for money. Recommended!

An average restaurant, typical of a tourist spot. The menu offers very little variety, with the usual standard tourist fare. The flavors are overall decent, but nothing memorable. In the evening, the atmosphere can be quite noisy and chaotic, partly due to the confusion among the waiters. We ordered stuffed eggplant for an appetizer and orecchiette with turnip greens for a main course: both were good, but the price was decidedly unjustified.

Il rapporto qualità-prezzo è davvero eccellente. Il servizio è attento, cordiale e professionale, con uno staff sempre disponibile a consigliare al meglio.
