Characteristic place in the historic center. They immediately offer us an appetizer which is a real gastronomic journey. Ricotta, cured meats, caponata, tenerumi etc... The grilled meat is well cooked and tasty. The griller, who I think is also the owner, is a master of the grill. I do not recommend the place for those with small children.

Unico neo la mancanza di un menu: l'offerta è antipasti + secondo (oppure uno solo dei due). In questo senso non è un posto che visiterei con assidua frequenza ma per contro è una garanzia su cosa aspettarsi. Per la scelta del secondo fatevi avanti voi, altrimenti è sottinteso che volete la tagliata di manzo al sangue... di opzioni ce ne sono, tutte di livello per altro, però non vengono sempre presentate

5/5. I would also like to give more stars. Absolute recommendation. Top service, nice atmosphere and exclusively regional products. No typical á la carte order but a uniform and variable menu with various, heavenly and typically Sicilian starters. The main course is served with very tasty beef steak. It's really a lot of food and if you like it a little less, please let us know in advance. For dessert there was lemon sorbet. Also just delicious. Overall it was very tasty and authentic. We will definitely come back sometime.

Excellent welcome. 6 of us went without a reservation and they left the choice of table up to us. After 30 minutes the place was full. We let ourselves be advised and the food was super, as were the matching wines. If you are in those parts it is worth a visit, also for the particularity of the access.

We stumbled upon it by chance, At first it seemed like the wait was long, but once I ordered they were quick. Exquisite starter and we ate an excellent Mula steak. Excellent shopping, highly recommended

OMG, best steak I've ever had! Staff was friendly and accommodating even though I don't speak Italian. Reasonable prices, good wine and generous portions! I think I found my dinner place for my entire vacation. Make sure you save room for the cannoli and lemon sorbet!

This food is AMAZING - simply AMAZING. I have NEVER had a steak like this. Everything was fantastic, to the plethora of appetizers to a filet that could be cut with a fork cooked to a perfect medium where the seasoning was just completely en pointe with large crunchy salt crystals and the perfect amount of pepper. The potato cakes and I need a moment alone, and should you feel the need to divvy up the INCREDIBLY generous portion of Buffalo mozzarella and top dress them, well, who’s to say that’s not a good idea? The crostini with the meat layer over it was fantastic. The bread was fluffy and delicious, and dipping it a bit into some olive oil is always delightful. The staff were attentive and our lack of Italian was not an issue. I have a stomach condition that barred me from eating a huge amount of the appetizers but my dinner partner did attempt to make a dent in that sumptuous feast. And do NOT skip dessert! We cannot even discuss the value we received for the money - when I found out how much my partner was charged for this meal, I insisted that he march back in there and give the man the REST of the money he owed him for that INCREDIBLE spread we’d just consumed. You will NOT regret stopping here to have dinner - I HIGHLY recommend it to ANYONE looking for superior food at a beyond-reasonable price!!!
