We had a wonderful meal at this restaurant. Homemade pasta, beautifully prepared porcini mushrooms, perfectly cooked wild boar stew... The lady taking our orders was very friendly and professional. The price was reasonable. Worth the trip.

Excellent osteria, delicious food, excellent location at the entrance to the historic center, and a pleasant atmosphere.
The dishes are excellent, generously portioned (as is typical of trattorias and osterias); the wild boar was also cooked perfectly without leaving any aftertaste or overly strong flavors, as was the peposo, which was very tender.
A special mention goes to the wine prices, which are almost retail price (note: the price on the menu is per bottle, not per glass).
We ate at the front of the restaurant, but there's also a terrace at the back with a view of the surrounding hills.
The service was also excellent, friendly and quick.

What did I expect? To eat well...and so it was. We sat on the small, welcoming back terrace, where each table had its own space. We were greeted by a lady with a big smile who explained the off-menu options and recommended the various courses. What can I say? Each dish was better than the next, finishing with a Florentine steak that was simply perfect. I also wanted to applaud the helpfulness of the staff; I asked if it was possible to have a cake to celebrate a birthday, and they arranged it for me. Will I be back? Definitely.

Sorry for the photo, but the pappardelle with fresh porcini mushrooms were irresistible... A Maremma-style osteria nestled against the walls of the beautiful town of Magliano in Toscana. Not to be missed! Professionalism and authenticity at their finest. Excellent value.

A small restaurant on the outskirts of town.
We enjoyed everything, from the cured meats and cheese appetizers to the meat-based main courses (wild boar Maremma style and veal with tuna sauce), to the homemade tiramisu. We didn't try the first courses, but when we saw them go by, they looked really interesting! With olives, à la cuoca!
