This restaurant is near Perugia's train station (not a particularly beautiful area), but once inside, you're greeted by the warm staff. The menu features local and seasonal dishes (mushrooms and truffles). It's a shame the tagliata had a bit of sinew.

The staff were cheerful and courteous, which I noticed even when I made my reservation over the phone. The food was excellent, true to the classic Umbrian osteria tradition. Everything was delicious, especially the umbricelli pasta with truffle and porcini mushrooms, which had a fragrance I'll never forget. All the ingredients were local and fresh, cooked to perfection. Thank you for this wonderful culinary experience in Perugia. I highly recommend it!

We had dinner on my birthday, September 27, 2025. My compliments on the cuisine. The appetizer was excellent, the first course with truffle was impeccable and delicious (my husband ate it), and the second course was the tagliata with porcini mushrooms. It was excellent both in terms of cooking and flavor.

Il Ristorante rimane un pochino nascosto e non ha un proprio parcheggio, quindi si può parcheggiare lungo la strada che è a senso unico. Il locale è piccolo ed è più una trattoria con un'atmosfera informale e piatti tipici. Il proprietario è alla mano. Il cibo è buono, consiglierei il risotto e le fettuccine viola, non le fettuccine al ragù. Prezzi nella norma.

11/11/2025: I stumbled upon it by chance. Everything was truly exceptional. Good. I paid little for the quality. I really recommend it. A wonderful surprise.
18/10/2025: A quiet and welcoming place, the service wasn't particularly fast, but it was courteous. The crostini with lard and honey as an appetizer was excellent, but €8 is a bit too much for the portion. The gnocchi with Taleggio cheese and truffle cream were delicious and delicate. The white chocolate mousse was exquisite, but the Roccata wasn't quite to our taste... Overall, we recommend it ☺️

14/12/2025: We were in Santa Maria degli Angeli, lunchtime. A few phone calls to recommended restaurants fell through because there was no room. We looked around, crossing the street, right next to the basilica's square, and found a delicatessen: LA PREGIUTTERIA CASA NORCIA. A warm, welcoming atmosphere greeted us. We scanned the QR code and discovered a menu of excellent local products. Cured meats, cheeses, and typical dishes were hard to choose from. We ordered the cured meats and cheese platter: pure delight! Followed by stuffed ravioli literally enveloped in a creamy cheese sauce and truffle shavings, and pappardelle with wild boar ragù—superb!! I'd love to go back to try the other offerings. I highly recommend it; it's a high-quality restaurant. 😋
07/12/2025: Everything was perfect; we had high expectations, and they were perfectly met! The cured meats were high-quality and delicious. The liver pâté was delicious! The pappardelle with wild boar and the pork tenderloin with Jerusalem artichoke cream were also excellent. Highly recommended.
