A nice experience, simple but very tasty and also plentiful dishes, very friendly and nice service I had a good time!

Simple place where the priority is good food and good wine. Excellent for tasting Umbrian products. The place is welcoming, the staff friendly and helpful.

Avevo già adocchiato online questo locale per le ottime recensioni, e complice la sosta in stazione in attesa del check in nel nostro alloggio abbiamo deciso di provare subito Mangiafuoco: personale gentile e cordiale, cibo ottimo e abbondante e prezzo più che onesto. Oste simpaticissimo e presente vera anima del locale. Consigliatissimo!!!

Have you just arrived in Perugia by train? Are you hungry and don't know where to go? The perfect place for you is just 2 steps from Perugia central station (and the minimetro). Mangiafuoco is an exceptional restaurant. Let's start by saying that the internal environment of the restaurant is truly very beautiful, a small gem are the paintings with references to Pinocchio and obviously Mangiafuoco. The quality of the food is fantastic, starting from the super rich and abundant starters (for spicy lovers, the Mangiafuoco starter is worth mentioning). The former and latter are truly stratospheric. A wide choice of first courses, all rigorously abundant and of excellent quality, not to mention the meat that literally melts in your mouth and has a flavor that defining perfect would not do it justice. The desserts are delicious, worth mentioning is the panna cotta, one of the best I've ever eaten in my life, and finally the owners and waiters are super nice. Very normal prices, in short, truly the best place to come and eat in the Umbrian capital.

We went to have lunch at this tavern found on the internet while I was looking for a restaurant that also offered gluten-free, it was a nice surprise, the welcome was wonderful and the dishes were perfect. I absolutely recommend

Nothing to say, I was there with my girlfriend for the Christmas Eve dinner and it was all delicious we took the porcini and truffle umbricelli and the purple tagliatelle which were really delicious (the slipper at the end is obligatory) even if the sauce is very abundant and filling , then for the second course the octopus in chickpea cream which was also very good, the staff were very kind especially the owner, he made you feel at home

The tavern is located near the station but it is very difficult to get there on foot as there are no pedestrian crossings, the area does not seem very safe but this is obviously not the fault of the owners, quite fast service and quiet place, friendly staff and the very nice owner, the dishes are very good and the quantity is abundant, perhaps too much seasoning which after a while disgusts you but otherwise excellent appearance and very good, we took water, a cocacola, two first courses and the second course of the day which was an octopus in chickpea sauce (for the Christmas Eve) maybe sixteen euros a bit too much but otherwise it was good, total €50.

Pranzo tra amici alla scoperta del territorio perugino. Subito siamo stati accolto con estremo calore dal titolare Francesco con un grande sorriso e delle risate. Cibo ottimo e abbondante di cui allego foto. Prezzo molto conveniente. Consigliato e sicuramente torneremo ancora!
