The location is undoubtedly evocative, behind the church of San Domenico and next to some jewels of Baroque architecture (Santa Maria in Valverde). The menu features traditional Palermitan cuisine; the dishes are good and plentiful, but not particularly exciting. The service is questionable, with waiters trying to take our plates away before we'd even finished... what a shame.

Warm and welcoming place. Menu of traditional local specialties. I personally tried the fried pasta and was very pleased. Angelo is a wonderful host, and the staff are courteous and fast.

A typical Sicilian restaurant with a unique atmosphere.
The menu selection is reasonable, the quality and quantity are right for the price, and the service is fast and efficient.
The photo in question is of the famous pan of pasta with sauce for four people, served directly from the pan.

A great place to eat in Palermo! The food is truly delicious, carefully prepared and full of flavor. The service is fast and friendly, which makes the experience even more enjoyable. Plus, the value for money is truly excellent! I recommend it without hesitation.

Eravamo tornati con molto entusiasmo e forse per questo siamo rimasti delusi. In 5 assaggi di antipasti (sarde in becca fico, e vari assaggi tipici) ma solo il formaggio fuso è piaciuto molto. La pasta con le sarde non è piaciuta a tre su tre, mentre gustoso la linguina al nero di seppia. Prezzo contenuto servizio veloce.

Ci sono andato più volte perché si mangia bene a prezzi accessibili. Locale carino, semplice, il personale gentile anche se non molto preparato. Non so se le materie prime sono di qualità ma sono molto abbondanti. Occorre prenotare ci sono anche molti turisti
