Its a very lovely place if you are looking for easy food. He’s got locally grown food and wine, simple dishes but very tasty. Its an easygoing atmosphere and he asks for easygoing guest who are looking for a feeling like being at home. The owner seems a little introvert and nerdy but has a very lovely and shy character, aiming to accommodate his guests at its best abilities. Ask for the house red which is made by him. It is absolutely delicious.

Excellent food and a very friendly owner. Cheap but very tasty. Reservations are recommended.

We were greeted by very helpful and friendly people. We hadn't booked, but since we arrived early, we managed to find a table for three. However, within a few minutes, there were no more seats, so we recommend booking beforehand. Everything was very good, especially the meatballs, both the bugiarde and the beef ones. Correct, highly recommended.

The food and the service was absolutely amazing. It was by far our favorite stop of our entire vacation. The owner is such a nice person who was very patient, funny and social through the entirety of the evening. The food was insanely good too. We are all still talking about it. The courses were surprising, every single dish we ordered was pretty simple and yet so good because of the combination of ingredients used. Next time I'm in Puglia, I would consider going to matera again just to come back to this place. I don't really know why some people wrote bad reviews on here, i can't really imagine any of the things that have been described in them. All in all it was such a precious evening, keep up the good work!

A truly memorable experience! I came with my sister and parents without a reservation and they seated us right away. As soon as we entered, the atmosphere was warm and welcoming, with furnishings designed down to the smallest detail. The service was impeccable, discreet but always present with a kindness and attentiveness that are rarely found these days, and above all, every request was greeted with a smile. Even the menu isn't the usual list of dishes with prices, but there's a story behind it, a tale that lets you understand the soul of the place. We tried the zucchini appetizer and three different first courses, and they were all delicious, well-made, and plentiful. The food is truly good, and you immediately understand that there's passion in the kitchen.

Don't miss this restaurant. Very good Italian cuisine. Very good desserts. Friendly atmosphere and staff. Plus, one of the waiters, Francesco, speaks French and translated and recommended dishes for us. Excellent value for money. We were also offered a complimentary digotti.

Posto accogliente con un personale gentile e simpatico. I piatti semplice e molto buoni i pezzi giusti per la qualità e la quantità delle porzioni. Per politica aziendale l'acqua non viene fatta pagare. Buonissime le verdure e le polpette sbagliate. Ottime le orecchiette .
