a wonderful place, with very friendly waiters! the food was also fantastic, typical of the region! I recommend it to everyone who eats and drinks well outside the tourist masses in Matera! big up👌

Don't miss this restaurant. Very good Italian cuisine. Very good desserts. Friendly atmosphere and staff. Plus, one of the waiters, Francesco, speaks French and translated and recommended dishes for us. Excellent value for money. We were also offered a complimentary digotti.

The atmosphere is not very formal… even too much… sometimes it goes a bit overboard. The food is average, expensive in relation to the type.

Beautiful experience. The place, the people, the philosophy and even the food. But in the end it is secondary. Coming here is choosing to meet interesting people and share a few words and time. Outside the tourist casino of the Sassi, but very easy to reach. The outdoor tables, the relaxed and confidential atmosphere, the poetry of their approach. Everything is beautiful. Even the food.

Posto accogliente con un personale gentile e simpatico. I piatti semplice e molto buoni i pezzi giusti per la qualità e la quantità delle porzioni. Per politica aziendale l'acqua non viene fatta pagare. Buonissime le verdure e le polpette sbagliate. Ottime le orecchiette .

Osteria spartana, essenziale, sembra di essere tornati indietro nel tempo. Si trova a pochi metri dal cuore dei sassi, vicino alla piazza Vittorio Veneto. Menù tipicamente e genuinamente materano, polpette di pane buonissime, altrettanto i primi e lo spezzatino con patate, dolce del giorno buono. Personale gentilissimo. Rapporto qualità/prezzo ottimo. Una delle sorprese del nostro soggiorno in città. Complimenti. Consigliatissimo

The cuisine expertly combines Lucanian tradition and innovation, with well-executed dishes and a selection of gourmet pizzas with long leavening. The wine list is also excellent, full of local and national labels. Attentive service and a romantic atmosphere, ideal for special dinners. Prices in line with the quality and location. Trase,ca t'ammudd!

14/06/2025: already from the outside this place inspires a lot of trust and in fact upon entering you can perceive the familiarity and kindness of the owner. every dish on the menu is extremely inviting and I would have liked to try practically everything but everything I tasted exceeded expectations. here the pistachio is truly and fully felt. I recommend this place not only for the food itself but also for the environment and the treatment that you don't find everywhere🫶🏻
