An experience I'll definitely repeat. The food is definitely above-average. The waiters are friendly and approachable, but above all, the atmosphere is comfortable.
The meat, cooked in all its various ways, is delicious! Having worked in a restaurant, I can say this is one of the best places I've dined. The wine list is noteworthy: one of the largest I've ever encountered, with over 500 wines, champagnes, Franciacortas, and dessert wines. I'll definitely be back. Thanks for the experience.

We went here with friends on a recommendation. I agree with previous reviews regarding the service (somewhat impersonal and taciturn), but I must say the food was fantastic. There's a huge selection of wines, which wasn't really of interest to me as I don't drink wine. My friends, however, were delighted with the selection. I also found the entrance area a bit cluttered and dark, so I was pleasantly surprised when I entered the bright terrace/dining area. The women's restroom was clean, but there's only one restroom each for men and women. I can imagine it could get a bit crowded when the restaurant is full. Overall, I found the food very tasty and the restaurant appealing. Only the service could be improved.

A good restaurant on the Bolgheri road.
Owned by Macello (the restaurant next door).
The wine list is excellent, even though it's only medium-high quality.
The only downside is the inattentive service.

Excellent lunch here. Service was a little slow (but I am an American and always moving too fast!), and there were bees that bothered people eating (understandable). The food was very good and I would highly recommend people experience it!!

Always a sure thing. Definitely one of my top five restaurants. Definitely a must-try in the splendid setting of Bolgheri.

Appuntamento immancabile nelle mie soste a Castagneto Carducci. Qui si va sul sicuro. Ho preso il classico antipasto degustazione, fatto di assaggini veramente sfiziosi. Poi un filetto, buono ma "ostico". Vino eccezionale, Grattamacco da applausi. Un appunot sul dolce, crema bruciata non proprio esaltante. Ottima sosta!
