Great restaurant, cozy and nice. The gnocchi cacio e pepe are spectacular and the chef's appetizer is a real surprise. Very friendly service and the chef is very nice!

We arrived at 2:20 pm but they still sat us down, the food was excellent (especially the peposo) and both the lady and the girl were very kind. If we were to go back we would definitely go back

A small tavern in the center of San Miniato. Tasty dishes of local cuisine, many with truffles. Wide and varied wine list. Courteous service. Reasonable prices.

This is the third time I've been back and it's been confirmed! It's the best tavern I've ever eaten in! The atmosphere, staff and food are top notch. Simple but definitely tasty cuisine, suitable for families. I recommend booking because it's a small tavern, but definitely very, very nice.

Non si resiste a fare la scarpetta ! La fonduta di taleggio con lo sformatino di polenta e tartufo e 'un vero godimento cosi come le uova al tegamino con purea con tartufo ....anche lo sformatino di spinaci ti acchiappa ...insomma il pane caldo nel tegamino gira a mo di trottola ...super consigliato il locale e piccolo meglio prenotare ..servizio celere ..servizio impeccabile e cordiale insomma top

Trattoria Da Badò

18/07/2025: It is the oldest restaurant in Volterra and the typical tavern of the past, traditional dishes cooked simply with a good result. The restaurant is welcoming, I would leave the tavern tablecloth on display (white tablecloth with red squares) partly covered by a white restaurant tablecloth. On the internet it deserves a slightly higher price, try it.
16/07/2025: A lovely discovery outside the city center! Bar Trattoria da Bado was a pleasant surprise: a trattoria outside the historic center of Volterra, authentic and frequented by locals, workers, and laborers. A real place, not touristy, where you eat as well as at home. The cuisine is simple, authentic, with classic dishes prepared with care: authentic flavors that take you back in time. The atmosphere is welcoming and familiar, and we felt truly at home. Highly recommended for those looking for a no-frills lunch or dinner full of flavor and sincerity.

Ristorante Poldino

10/07/2025: I went to this restaurant because I was invited, otherwise I wouldn't have gone because they mostly serve meat, and I'm a vegetarian. I must say, however, that I managed to find a couple of very good dishes, so my opinion is definitely positive. We ate outside, on a sort of veranda, but it was a bit warm, and some fans, perhaps on the ceiling, would have been useful. Also, since it was quite busy, it was a bit too noisy. I can't say how much we paid, because they offered it.
09/07/2025: It was a surprise, we ate very well and were spoiled by the staff, an excellent location and paid the right amount
