We ate well, especially the excellent frico the polenta with sausage and smoked ricotta was good, the portion perhaps a little small. excellent desserts. I didn't particularly like the wine. the prices overall quite good. Nice typical rustic place, very kind owners and excellent service, I definitely recommend it.

A no-frills, no-pretentious tavern, a pleasant and welcoming environment, in the middle of what, until a few decades ago, was the countryside on the outskirts of Udine and which has now become a residential area. Simple dishes that are affordable for everyone.

Osteria di quelle locali, belle e buone. Fuori città, fuori dal caos, tradizionale. Cucina friulana molto semplice, indubbiamente una garanzia. Porzioni sufficienti: con vi alzerete con la fame ma adeguatamente sazi. Arredamento caratteristico. Prenotazione raccomandata.

Local tavern, beautiful and good. Out of the city, out of the chaos, traditional. Very simple Friulian cuisine, undoubtedly a guarantee. Sufficient portions: with this you will wake up hungry but adequately satisfied. Characteristic furnishings. Reservation recommended.

It's not the first time I've eaten in this place and I'm not disappointed, it's a typical tavern with truly local dishes made on the spot. The staff is efficient and courteous, also available to give some information on the period photos hanging at the entrance, really kind, super honest price, I will certainly return with pleasure

Lo consiglio, tipica osteria friulana, semplice e accogliente. Ottimi piatti , super la Karbonara friulana variante del noto piatto romano. Posto piccolo e molto ben curato, servizio all' altezza delle aspettative. Un tuffo nel passato. Se volete un ristorante stellato accendete la TV, sedetevi sul divano e guardate una delle tante trasmissioni di cucina. Questo posto è bello perché è tutto l' opposto. Molto attenti anche con chi è celiaco, sanno di cosa si tratta e come gestire la cucina.

Angelo B (0 review) I recommend it, a typical Friulian tavern, simple and welcoming. Excellent dishes, the Friulian Karbonara, a variant of the well-known Roman dish, is super. Small and very well looked after place, service up to expectations. A blast from the past. If you want a starred restaurant, turn on the TV, sit on the sofa and watch one of the many cooking programmes. This place is beautiful because it is completely the opposite. Very careful even with those who have celiac disease, they know what it is about and how to manage the kitchen

Osteria Enoteca Villa Nachini

04/01/2025: Recommended to us by the host where we are staying these days, tonight we had dinner in this place, the Villa Nachini Gabassi Restaurant, also known as Osteria Barchessa. The cuisine is typical Friulian, where tradition is combined with a pinch of innovation and a great variety of wine labels. As an appetizer they offered us salami in vinegar with onion and a purple cabbage pie, we then continued with a portion of pork cheeks braised in Refosco accompanied by mashed potatoes and a portion of sem fillet, a dish prepared with three thin fillets of sorana , rolled up to form a swirl and then plated in a pan at medium cooking. We concluded with a dessert, Rigojanci, a chocolate cake typical of Trieste cuisine and of Hungarian origin, prepared with quality chocolate and in this case, with a rice-based sponge cake, light and sugar-free. I, a chocolate lover, really appreciated it, it was a great discovery. Trained and courteous staff, almost all female, from the cook to the dining room staff. Elegant location, honest prices.

26/01/2025: I never do reviews but this time I can't help myself. Exceptional pizza. Top dough and filling with very perfect combinations, even vegan. To be recommended to everyone, it will be a fixed stop on Udine trips.
