A paradise just a few steps from the center of Benevento! Hospitality, quality of the raw materials and excellent service are the elements that should push everyone to come to this wonderful tavern very close to Benevento. The vegetables are also excellent, with a particular note of merit to the grilled pumpkin, never eaten so good and the calloused and skinned grilled peppers super super super top. It has already become a place of my heart!

Truly exceptional experience at Osteria Leone! Here everything is genuine, with authentic flavors and a quality that can be perceived in every dish. The starters are delicious and prepared with fresh, seasonal ingredients, while the meat is simply spectacular, cooked to perfection and full of flavour. The desserts were also a delicious surprise, ending the meal in style. To complete the picture, the prices are decidedly honest, making this tavern excellent value for money. Absolutely recommended

On Sunday we were guests of the Leone tavern again, and Mario delighted us with his very innovative menus, we had a really good time, kind and prepared staff, every time I feel like I'm at home, I highly recommend it

If you are even just passing through this area you cannot fail to stop in this Osteria! We stopped several times for dinner and were never disappointed, fantastic pizzas, super abundant and excellent quality starters! And then the gem, the quality of the meat is amazing!! The environment is very welcoming, lots of space both inside and outside! Excellent consideration for the children who are served super quickly and the staff absolutely competent both in the dining room and in the wine service!! All at really low prices in my opinion!!! Well done!

I recently dined at Osteria Leone and was deeply impressed by both the exquisite cuisine and impeccable service. The menu features a variety of innovative dishes, with bold flavors and beautiful presentation. I highly recommend this place not only for the fresh products and the high quality, but also for the kindness of the owner, a guy who really deserves a lot. We will definitely return.

11/12/2024: We chose this place for a one night stay. Unfortunately the kitchen was closed so we could also try the agriturismo. Excellent and helpful staff. Clean, warm and well-furnished rooms. Excellent location: very close to the Grassano Park and Bocca della Selva. Highly recommended!
09/11/2024: Very friendly owners. Large and spacious room with an extra comfortable bed. We had a good dinner with local products. Free parking.

17/08/2024: The restaurant is omnivorous and offers vegetarian options a la carte, but by notifying the presence of vegans when booking, they are happy to adapt the dishes with creativity, to offer a tasty alternative to the classic omnivorous restaurant dish with some ingredients removed ad hoc. This was my vegan menu: Opera Prima starter including a basket of crunchy bread (fresella type) with fresh tomato and Apulian cucumber, natural parmigiana with mint (delicious), battered and fried courgette flower, side dish of friggitelli and tomatoes , mini pumpkin cream soup with pistachio; handmade narrow fusilli with fried courgettes, courgette flowers and basil pesto; Baked artichokes with fresh oregano. From what I understood there would also be a sweet option, but I was really too full and didn't have the chance to try! They made me feel very welcomed and happily accommodated in my needs, which is not at all a given in omnivorous places. The price is not particularly low, but the care of the dishes and the quantity of the portions more than justify it. I warmly recommend to anyone in the area!
28/07/2024: Taste experiences of absolute pleasure. Dishes in which the harmony of flavors blends into a blaze of pleasure for the palate. Experienced staff ready to satisfy every request and above all competent in illustrating the characteristics of each dish. Highly recommended.
