Osteria Le Volte In Lecce

Locale carino, in centro, piatti tipici della cucina salentina, prezzi onesti, di buona qualità ma non eccellente. Staff cordiale.

Siamo stati in questo locale a mangiare, io e la mia famiglia (moglie e 3 figli). Siamo stati subito accolti da una ragazza molto gentile e con un sorriso splendente. Ci ha fatto subito accomodare e dato la precedenza agli ordini dei bambini (soprattutto la piccola di 10 mesi, avevamo un barattolo da scaldare al microonde e lo ha fatto immediatamente). Dopo è passata a noi adulti, consigliandoci cosa prendere. Dopo un po arriva un altro cameriere a portarci da bere, il quale si ferma a chiacchierare un pochino con i bambini, facendoli molto divertire (dovrebbe chiamarsi Juliann, un cameriere anglotedesco). Durante la cena, sono passati, sia il signore che la ragazza, a chiederci come andava (e a farsi due risatine con i bambini.....Julian ha inquadrato immediatamente il mediano!!!!!) Il cibo era ottimo, nulla da dire, ci siamo spazzolati tutto!!!!! Il prezzo più che abbordabile e per una famiglia in questi tempi trovare un posto simile è difficile. Peccato che non siamo di Lecce, altrimenti ci saremmo sicuramente tornati BRAVISSIMI!!!!!

Yep, Italian food is not the same as food from Lecce. If you want really authentic food, you should really look for an Osteria and not a pizzeria or restaurant. The trick is not only to live up to the name Osteria, but also to the hospitality. If you don't understand something about the food... just ask. At Le Volte they explain everything with love and pleasure. It can be so busy that you lose your shoes along the way, but the customer should in principle not notice this... the customer is king and the only one. We were able to experience that at Le Volte: good and authentic food, hospitality and attention (despite the crowds). I won't say anything about the price-quality-quantity ratio: more than fine. We immediately made a reservation for the next day.

I went to this place as a tourist and wanted to try some local specialties. Simple but effective, these words perfectly describe the dinner I ate at the tavern several times. Fast service, easy place to find, friendly and kind people. I ate well and spent the right amount and therefore I recommend this place.

We went to this tavern for lunch and it was a great experience. They have a very extensive menu, but I recommend the "sagne 'ncannulate" with seafood to everyone, I loved them. To return as soon as possible!

Nice little air-conditioned place in the center of Lecce. The opinions on the food are conflicting, I would like to point out that we thought of meat and vegetable dishes, so we cannot comment on the typical Lecce dishes. As far as I'm concerned, good meat and vegetables, my partner didn't like the capocollo dish, which he said was overcooked. Too bad the menu offered fruit that they didn't actually have. I would go back because I had a good time.
