In the center of Piana, a place with few tables but very welcoming. Stone interiors, intimate atmosphere but without lack of light. Menu based on meat but with various alternatives for those who don't like it. Good range of wines, with appreciable flexibility for some labels served by the glass. Informal and attentive service, normal prices, good quality cuisine. A stop to make again in the future.

I went for lunch with a large group of biker friends. They offered us a tasting of various courses including appetizers, first and second courses, all based on meat and all very good. The dishes, in terms of choice, were like those that can be found in a local farmhouse, with rustic appetizers, homemade first courses and second courses with mixed roast meat. The cost was average (which unfortunately has increased recently). The precise and punctual service. The space is very small, it is absolutely advisable to book especially in the case of groups.

Piccolo locale, intimo e finemente arredato; personale gentile , bagni pulitissimi. Menu’ leggermente limitato ma ogni piatto ha il suo perché. Abbiamo provato un cuoppo e del formaggio, una costata morbidissima e la salsiccia panata mai assaggiata prima. Ottimo il cannolo classico e freschissimo quello al limone.

Small restaurant on the main street of Piana degli Albanesi, we had dinner with a group of friends tasting cold cuts and first courses. Personally I had pappardelle with sausage ragout. All very good. The only flaw is the slightly high prices.

Raramente mi è capitato di avere voglia di scrivere e descrivere le emozioni che può darti solo un pranzo nel quale eccellenza è il solo termine che può definire l’esperienza vissuta. Non riesco a trovare una seppur minima pecca. Personale gentile, affabile, attento, professionale. Due primi che io e mia moglie ci siamo “rubati” a vicenda in una gara a quale fosse il migliore. Piatti spazzolati. Abbiamo poi preso un solo secondo da dividere, ed al momento della portata al tavolo ho capito ancor di più quale fosse l’attenzione al cliente, visto che la porzione non era certamente per una persona. Restiamo pure stupiti per un conto che dimostra come tanti pseudo ristoratori speculano e molto sui prezzi. Non so cosa aggiungere, anzi si, che se ci fosse la sesta stella tra i tanti ristoranti da me visitati, Le Volte sarebbe certamente uno dei pochi a cui l’assegnerei con tutti i miei sentimenti. Semplicemente ciò che dovrebbe essere la buona ristorazione. Rendere gioiosa un’esperienza culinaria.
