I traveled 1,200 km and more to eat at La Vecchia Fontana...just kidding, recommended by my brother who had been there and highly recommended. Excellent advice and no disappointments. A lunch with Salento flavors inspired by the past. Appetizers...the first and second courses were plentiful and went down wonderfully, even with the "scarpetta" (a kind of bread) to be mopped up. If you love traditional cuisine, freshly prepared, simple and with the flavors and aromas of the place, this is a highly recommended osteria. I also thank you for the friendly and helpful welcome. Osteria Vecchia Fontana...we'll see you again!!!

Da molto tempo io e la mia ragazza non mangiavamo una pasta così buona come quella che abbiamo mangiato lì. La pasta alle vongole era leggera e saporita, e la carbonara era deliziosa. Per dessert, lo chef ci ha portato la frutta del suo orto, anch'essa deliziosa. Torneremo sicuramente la prossima volta.
