I owed you this review!! I was in Puglia in August, and in Supersano I was lucky enough to visit and dine at this extraordinary place, run by its charming owners, along with a team of fantastic hosts. All the dishes were exquisite, especially the pistachio cake. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED 10/10 👌🏼 THANK YOU ALL, MY GIRLS, for your attention, the cake, and the limoncello! We will always return from you.

Particularly impressive is the head chef, Salvatore, who continually conjures up new culinary surprises with passion and skill. The cooking here is done with heart and soul – and you can taste it in every bite! The ambiance is cozy and welcoming, typically Italian, and ideal for a relaxed evening with friends or family. The service is attentive, friendly, and welcoming, making you feel immediately welcome. A must-try: the antipasti, homemade pasta, and desserts – a poem! 🍷🍝 👉 Conclusion: If you're in Supersano (or the surrounding area), you have to eat here. I traveled 1,200 km and more to eat at La Vecchia Fontana...just kidding, recommended by my brother who had been there and highly recommended. Excellent advice and no disappointments. A lunch with Salento flavors inspired by the past. Appetizers...the first and second courses were plentiful and went down wonderfully, even with the "scarpetta" (a kind of bread) to be mopped up. If you love traditional cuisine, freshly prepared, simple and with the flavors and aromas of the place, this is a highly recommended osteria. I also thank you for the friendly and helpful welcome. Osteria Vecchia Fontana...we'll see you again!!!

We went to this osteria attracted by the positive reviews, and our expectations were fully met! A simple and very welcoming place that makes you feel at home—just what we were looking for. The dishes were delicious and the portions were so generous, we couldn't finish them all 😅, and the owner, at our request, kindly prepared a tray for us to take to the beach the next day. Our palate was doubly satisfied! 😋 The price was reasonable, and the owner even offered us a complimentary amaro. We can't recommend it enough. Thank you!

24/02/2026: Lunch today was excellent, as always, at Osteria dei Briganti, in the heart of Gallipoli's historic center. A wide selection of the freshest fish, cooked according to Gallipoli's age-old tradition. A welcoming and relaxing atmosphere awaits you within the ancient tuff walls of this restaurant, a regular haunt of ours, where we've never been disappointed. The weighing of the fish is clear and communicated in advance. Today, we specifically enjoyed a white sea bream and roasted cuttlefish: a delight. Occasionally, cheerful voices could be heard from the kitchen staff, and this gave me a sense of the organizational atmosphere here. This isn't a quick-and-easy stop for unsuspecting tourists; it's a place where they serve the freshest fish that's hard to find. Fully satisfied and rewarded with the "divine love" desserts at the end of the meal. I had only heard of Chef Andrea, but today I clearly understood the reason for the unanimous high regard he has earned, well beyond Salento. Well done everyone. A very fair price, considering the quality. Highly recommended. AAA +++

Not much to say: excellent food, top-notch service, attentive customer service, and an elegant atmosphere at reasonable prices. The catch of the day was very much appreciated. We'll definitely be back.

25/01/2026: Very nice and welcoming place! I hadn't heard of it, but it was a lovely discovery. Impeccable service and very helpful and friendly staff. The food is excellent, so I highly recommend it.
10/11/2025: Farmhouse with quality local products...on Saturday evening we took the opportunity to try and enjoy some of the pizzas on the menu...delicious!!! 👏👏👏
