Osteria La Toscana In Pisa

We were met with an attitude that vas not nice. We asked for a table indoors, all dough it was really warm outside. We wantet a meal away from smokers, and they did not seem to understand that. One of the staff looked like he had just been pulled of the street and put to work, with big holes in his jeans. They were mimicking guest, obviously irritated by what the guests asked for. They have obviously forgotten who's paying their salary..... The chef was sitting in the corner of the restaurant like he was waiting for a better life, he waited around 5 minutes frome he got our order till he went to the kitchen. In between he was scrolling YouTube or something like that, loudly. The food was ok. The lasagne we ordered looked like it was made hours ago and tossed into the oven to be grilled half burned. The pasta was better, but you should be really bad to screw up a pasta carbonara. Overall, I would never recommend this place to enyone, never.

Good restaurant, hard-working and quick staff. In a hotspot like this you have to work quickly, attentively and without errors in order to make money. Quality very good for the speed.

The staff is friendly and makes us feel comfortable. The pasta is homemade and offers impeccable quality/price pasta. Great discovery in a restaurant not far from the Tower of Pisa. The waiters speak to us in Italian as if we were their friends (except that we barely understand but spoken from the heart). To discover for fans of homemade Italian pasta.

Very reasonable price for a tourist place and very good food. Really pleasantly surprised!!

A very good restaurant, as far as I know, the Bruschetta with tomato was very good.

The service is very friendly and helpful. Unfortunately the portions are far too small. That doesn't quite fit into the price-performance ratio. Recommendation there are menus here that you can take instead of a single portion.

Osteria La Toscana actually wasn’t that Tuscan. I would say more Umbria or Marche. The cheeses were great but the seafood was lacking. Good place, not the best in town.
