We found this little place in Riomaggiore by chance and I have to say we had a good time.
The two girls were very polite, helpful and friendly.
The food was average, the place was small with seating outside.
If you pass by, stop by.
A must try when in cinque terra. Everything on the menu was fantastic. You must have their local pasta with seafood - still dreaming of that dish.

Michelone approved (except cream).
A little place hidden in a side street, but once you find it it's a surprise! The place is well-kept and welcoming, although perhaps a little too full of fake decorations. We only tried one dish: the trofie alla Michelone. The quality of the ingredients is good, the flavor is there. But be careful, there is cream (for those who don't like it). The portion is right, the dish passed!

I highly recommend the octopus. I regret not ordering two.ㅠ
I recommend trying the trofie noodles because they have a unique texture! I think I'll try it with pesto next time

Excellent experience in this great restaurant!
It was perfect from A to Z, the location in this quiet and charming little alley, the service with attentive and friendly people and excellent dishes at reasonable prices!!
I highly recommend, this restaurant deserves 5 stars!

We booked reiterating that we needed 2 high chairs for children but when we arrived there was only one. They solved it by taking it away from another child at another table. Our table was in a small area outside where it was difficult to even sit down and placing the high chairs was not easy at all. We waited a long time for the dishes to arrive. On the other hand, the dishes were really good. I recommend the first course of Michelone pasta. Good house wine.

Invogliati dalle recensioni positive, abbiamo scelto La Torpedine per una cena a Rio Maggiore e le aspettative sono state pienamente soddisfatte.
Il locale è molto piccolo (assolutamente
necessaria la prenotazione) ma accogliente. Le cameriere sono molto gentili e simpatiche. Il cibo è ben cucinato e presentato, abbondante e di qualità. Noi abbiamo optato per un antipasto in due (muscoli ripeni tipici della zona), due primi (trofie al pesto e spaghetti allo scoglio), due secondi (cozze alla spezzina e polpo su purè di patata viola), birra, acqua, caffè e amaro: tutto ottimo, il pesce buonissimo e tenerissimo. Prezzi corretti per la zona e la qualità. Consiglio vivamente!

Cercando un ristorante con Tripadvisor ho scelto La Torpedine. Ho trovato un ambiente raccolto ed accogliente oltre che un servizio all'insegna della cortesia e del sorriso. Sia l'antipasto a base di polpo che le trofie al pesto avevano sapori ben bilanciati ed hanno meritato una "scarpetta". Il rapporto qualità prezzo davvero buono. Merita sicuramente un'altra visita.
