Very kind and welcoming staff, I really felt at home. The best gricia I've ever tasted, and I've eaten a lot of them😅 Perfect carbonara, wonderful oxtail. End of the meal with tozzetti and donuts with sweet space wine. If I could have given you 6 stars I would have done so without thinking further. Well done guys, from today you will have one more regular customer. This is the place for those seeking the authenticity and goodness of true Roman cuisine, thank you very much for the wonderful evening.

Very good Italian restaurant which was recommended to us by our landlady. Not disappointed with the quality/price ratio for good, tasty dishes prepared at home. Very pleasant and efficient welcome and service in an excellent atmosphere. I recommend this restaurant.

I found this tavern here on Google, looking for an authentic place where you could eat "Roman style" as God commands! And what can I say, reading the reviews I had an excellent impression and the reality exceeded expectations. I recommend booking in advance because, although there is a good availability of tables, it is easy for them to be sold out (and there is a reason!). My mother and I were lucky because, despite booking the day before, they found us a table outside (which we specified on WhatsApp in advance to be correct as it was mid-December). The menu is what you expect to find in a family-run place that exudes genuine Romanism throughout. Then there are the dishes of the day which are explained at the moment and which encourage you to go beyond the classic specialities. But I couldn't resist and took the Carbonara. I'm not Roman and so I won't go into details, just say that it was very good... with the obligatory shoe at the end. For the second course I opted for something off the menu: "grandfather's balls". The meat in the meatballs was great and tender, the bacon was the perfect finishing touch. The craft beer also deserves a mention, a lager that went down better than water. Reluctantly I had to give up dessert but I was really satisfied with this experience. Generous portions at great prices, super welcoming and professional staff. I will return to Rome in the spring to see the Dalí exhibition in the area and it will be the right opportunity for an encore.

There is certainly better, but the dishes are well cooked and the portions are not pediatric as often happens in Rome. In some typical recipes some variations are applied without exaggerating. Ottimo pranzo con i piatti del giorno: tagliolini con la pajata 😋 e coratella, cacio e pepe con sugo di pesce e sgombro con panatura, patate e salsa al prezzemolo. Chiusura con il loro tiramisol e una fragrante crostatina di visciole. Servizio gentilissimo e attento. Prezzo ottimo. Torneremo presto per assaggiare i piatti classici romani ... se non saremo tentati ancora dai piatti del giorno 😉

In questa osteria tipica romana, un po’ fuori dalla zona centrale, ‘se magnano’ ottime specialità romane, gricia, carbonara, coda alla vaccinara, carciofi alla romana tutto davvero buonissimo e abbondante. Il gestore gentile ed efficiente, i camerieri bravissimi e simpatici. Finiti qui per caso leggendo le recensioni di TripAdvisor devo dire ottima scelta e ottima serata! Anche i prezzi ben equilibrati! Bravi!
