The food was truly excellent, the staff was very welcoming and helpful, and the view was breathtaking. Having also eaten outside, I highly recommend it and will gladly return.

I went to this place for lunch yesterday with a couple of friends. All three of us had a great time: the food was good, the portions generous, the prices fair, and the owners were kind and helpful. I highly recommend eating here.

I arrived today with my parents. When I parked the car, I met the owner Claudia, who said the restaurant was open and invited us to arrive at 12:30. So, we showed up at 12:30, and she greeted us with an infectious smile. We asked to eat outside to fully enjoy the view of the magnificent Zerba and the Boreca Valley. The house red wine was fantastic, the first course was a feast for the eyes, and the roast beef with fries was simply delicious. Finally, a cake with zabaglione cream, which definitely put the icing on the cake for a super experience. All this was topped off by the kindness and friendliness of the owner Claudia. I've been wanting to visit Zerba for a while, and I'm not even sure why! It's an oasis of peace, the silence is golden, and you can feel a sense of lightness and serenity. At 12, we entered the bar at Osteria La Scianza and immediately decided to stop for lunch. We were greeted with a smile, we ate well (spectacular cured meats!), the service was attentive... We felt at home, and even the chef is friendly and approachable. The place is far away... who knows... but we wholeheartedly recommend it! 😻 P.S. And then there's a beautiful cat! 😻

We only had a first course and dessert. Everything was plentiful and delicious.

I was with two friends and we had a tough time. Arriving in Zerba by bike, we found that no restaurant or bar was available for dinner, including La Scianza. Yet the manager, Claudia, whom we stopped by in the afternoon before arriving at our accommodation, opened her door just for us and welcomed us with warmth, friendliness, and familiarity. We ate traditional dishes in a frugal and informal way—no à la carte menu, just "what the chef offers." The dishes are homemade, authentic, and tasty; the house red wine by the glass was good, the dessert excellent; but above all, Claudia's friendliness, her availability, and her passion in sharing Zerba and its history were excellent. Unique! And in the end, we paid absolutely what we deserved. If you happen to pass through Zerba, here are two tips from those who have been there: stay at B&B Il Corniolo (and not Avventura Zerba, which is to be avoided!) and have dinner at La Scianza.
