First time recommended by Alfredo from the good taste restaurant, excellent advice, excellent cuisine, local service, I will definitely be back.

If you have to stop for a business lunch in Piacenza you can NEVER go wrong here

Now a historic place in the area behind the Piacenza cemetery. The owner is an excellent host and the girls in the room manage very well. Excellent cold cuts as well as the first courses (anolini and ravioli). The ribs were good in flavour, but a little fibrous/tough in texture, which is a shame, but it could also depend on the cut of meat. Another chance is certainly worth it 😄

I was at the company dinner, I had never been there, and I must say that I ate really well... I am more, for hills, mountains, where you eat galore, but I was impressed... well done

FOR ME IT IS A HISTORICAL PLACE OF PLEASURE EVEN BEING IN THE SUBURBS BUT WHERE THE ENVIRONMENT, THE FOOD, THE WELCOME AND KINDNESS OF THE "GREAT MAZZU", HIS BROTHERS, AND THE STAFF IS VERY DIFFICULT TO FIND IN MANY OTHER PLACES. CONGRATULATIONS TO SARACCA

L'Osteria "La Saracca" è situata nel quartiere di Piacenza chiamato "Il Capitolo". E' il quartiere adiacente al cimitero, in zona periferica, industriale, accanto alle autostrade. Siamo lontani dal centro monumentale e medievale e anche dai quartieri residenziali vicini ai parchi. E' una delle zone più brutte della città. Ma, l'osteria, solida nella tradizione ormai pluridecennali propone ambienti moderni con gigantografie alle pareti dei più insigni monumenti della città emiliana. A tavole, regna la tradizione piacentina ma sapientemente rivisitata con accostamenti audaci e arditi, mai banali. Ottime presentazioni e qualità, quantità sopra la media. Conto onesto. Bravi, davvero una scoperta per una cena con amici davvero soddisfacente!

Carino il locale e Ottimo cibo e personale davvero gentile. Torneremo sicuramente . Ottimo rapporto qualità e prezzo. I salumi sono davvero la fine del mondo

When some friends come to Piacenza we make a regular stop here 😉 excellent value for money, kind, attentive and professional waitresses. In Osteria alla Vecchia he is approachable and never fails, good quality and top quality/price ratio. Also recommended for large groups.
