What can I say? We come up here three or four times a year. I have grandchildren who live in Piacenza, so it's a must-see. We leave early to be at the Saracca for lunch. We can't help it.

We stumbled upon it by chance on our way back from Bologna. The staff were incredibly friendly, right from the phone call to make a reservation, and welcoming and helpful! Fantastic food, all delicious and reasonably priced! We'll definitely be back!

Returned after several years, still a great place for a business lunch. Be careful, it's a business lunch. If you're a white-collar worker looking for a cozy place to chat, this isn't the place unless you're focused solely on the food. The food is simple but well-cooked, with a good selection. The staff is smiling and helpful despite the busy schedule. They won't waste your time and will appreciate it if they reciprocate. Recommended.

I finally managed to stop by during opening hours. Excellent welcome and helpful service. Abundant dishes and quick service. €15 for a first course, a second course, a side dish, water, and coffee.

23/12/2025: This typical Piacenza restaurant was a pleasant surprise. The food was quality; the tortelli were not to be missed. The complimentary mandarin oranges, peanuts, and biscuits at the end of the meal were very welcome. Welcoming atmosphere, friendly staff, and reasonable prices.
21/12/2025: We had a very good lunch today. The first and second courses were excellent. Friendly and quick service. Good value for money.

14/11/2025: A special mention goes to the kindness, preparation, and professionalism of the entire staff, all young and truly talented. We enjoyed the stuffed zucchini flowers, the pisarei, and the typical batalàbar, tortelli con la coda. Considering the quality of the dishes and the service, the prices are more than fair. Highly recommended.
