Osteria La Porta del Levante In Mola di bari

I went, on the advice of a friend, for dinner on a Friday. It is a seafood restaurant and also a pizzeria. You need to book. There were 10 of us and we decided to have dinner based only on seafood. We ordered seafood (oysters, white walnuts, hairy mussels, tagliatelle, scampi and violets) and also scorpion fish carpaccio. After tagliolini, clams and bottarga, and finally wild strawberries and pezzogna (they are types of fish) in salt. All washed down with an excellent Falanghina. What can I say, everything was excellent. Very fresh fish. Excellent service and prices in line with the norm for those who eat fish.

It's the first time I found such kind, sweet, so nice staff. Above all there was a waiter with a disharmonious sweetness. And no, it's not such an easy quality to find. We had a great time and will be back soon.

Excellent and well prepared dishes but...I want to think that the exaggerated waiting times are an exceptional fact caused by the sold out due to the public holiday (1st May), even if this cannot be a mitigating factor because, if on an organizational level you cannot handle the impact you will not accept an excessive quantity of reservations. In fact, the justification given by the staff was that "the kitchen cannot prepare so many dishes at the same time". Result? Halls packed with people waiting exhaustingly with the inevitable chaos of voices which made the wait even more stressful. I hope to return because, I repeat, the dishes deserve to be enjoyed in a more relaxed manner and also because, honestly, I always feel sorry when I have to publish negative reviews.

Impeccable service, super competent and very helpful staff almost to pamper the customer. Excellent dishes and of excellent quality (the paccheri with scorpion fish are highly recommended). Strongly recommended, we will definitely return.

A lovely restaurant. Very nice environment, very clean. Friendly staff and very good dishes. Excellent quality - price ratio. They even offered us coffee.

Very cozy place, with friendly and warm service. If you like fish (raw and cooked) I recommend this place. The price was right and the wine a perfect match (and the dessert was incredible). We will get back again for sure and have saved it as one of our favorites in Mola di Bari.

Nulla di grave ma neanche nulla di wow. Antipasto un pò misero. Primi non male, ma quando si è in tanti, non si può pretendere di limitare la scelta ad 2, massimo 3 primi. non è serio. Dolci molto buoni.

We ended up there "almost by chance" but it was a very pleasant chance. The location is very nice and cared for in the details, the menu varied and quality: we ate fresh fish and cooked really well. In the dining room Giuseppe is a polite, attentive and very helpful figure.... We will definitely be back!

All good, fresh fish, I would have just added more starters but overall excellent, I will definitely return

Ottima qualità del pesce, servizio eccellente, personale molto educato ed efficiente oltre che cortese,portate oltre l aspettative,abbondanti,con pesce fresco,primi sfiziosi e sicuramente ci ritorneremo x i secondi che non avevamo più spazio x farli entrare 😃che dire molto soddisfatti anche x l ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo, consigliatissimo 👌
