The experience with this place began like this: we arrived in perfect condition and the pleasant waiter was giving our table booked outside to others, among other things the only one remaining. We should have already left, but instead we stayed. Fortunately I would say, because the dishes were all very good, but with one exception: the bruschettas: 7 euros for three bruschettas not worthy of the Poet's land, one of which with a boring pâté, another with a few cherry tomatoes on top (among 'other not even seasoned, at least I would expect a marinade in garlic, oil and oregano) and another indecent one with a drizzle of oil. The rest all good. See you next time, maybe.

The tavern outside appears very characteristic, the owner and the waiters are a bit grumpy, but when we got the bill they gave us a discount respecting the term tavern. The food is really great.

Typical place, courteous and professional staff. They handled our group for lunch, with an à la carte menu and were quick. Excellent food. To be recommended

Total disappointment. I chose this bar with my friends to spend a pleasant evening, but unfortunately the service was far below our expectations. This situation ruined our evening and I hope these issues are resolved

We always want to find little gems in big cities. Amazing food, great service and very cozy atmosphere. The best pizza I had in a long while. Very friendly staff.

15/07/2024: Da sempre per noi Barbi non era solo ottima cantina di vini.ma anche una delizia per il palato con raffinati piatti toscani curatissimi!! Da qualche anno il ristorante ha purtroppo ceduto il.passo ad un angolo di degustazione.Un peccato ma sicuramente comunque una soluzione piacevole con ottimi prodotti e vini eccellenti. Quest'anno abbiamo portato amici con noi..e ci siamo trovati nella bellissima sala a gistare formaggi e salumi di prima qualità...ma ERRORE INACCETTABILE ,,considerando la location ed i prodotti, portando a tavola un pane rinsecchito e vecchio che neppure le galline ambirebbero trovar come dieta! Non si può cadere su questo.....son cose che si pagano e sia noi che i nostri amici siamo rimasti DELUSISSIMI tanto da non voler tornare più sicuramente! Un pane stantio..non aiuta a valorizzare come si dovrebbe gli ottimi prodotti oltretutto non certo "regalati"! Esperienza di anni che si chiude qui!

Everything was top notch: very tasty authentic Sienese cuisine, large portions, attentive, polite and kind staff and finally the soul and heart of the restaurant - patron Cosimo! He is the best!
