At lunch on a cold Friday in January I allowed myself the luxury of the pleasure of taste! Excellent cuisine, welcoming environment, the owners are friendly and "true Tuscans"! I recommend the carbonara... special!

Pici made in any way are excellent. Equally excellent are the "peposo" and "ossobuco alla senese" accompanied by Chianti red wine.
As a starter, I recommend the "grilled pecorino cheese with rigatino"... light and delicious, it won't weigh you down so you can then enjoy both the first and second courses.

Trattoria tipica senese, piccolina, in zona porta camollia. Zona un pò decentrata, rispetto a Piazza del campo. Buono i piatti, prezzi nella media, proprietari molto gentili

We had dinner two nights in a row in this typical tavern and tried various dishes, all excellent. The staff cheerful and polite. Coming two nights in a row, we enjoyed several dishes, all really tasty. If we were to return, it would definitely remain a regular stop.

The experience with this place began like this: we arrived in perfect condition and the pleasant waiter was giving our table booked outside to others, among other things the only one remaining. We should have already left, but instead we stayed. Fortunately I would say, because the dishes were all very good, but with one exception: the bruschettas: 7 euros for three bruschettas not worthy of the Poet's land, one of which with a boring pâté, another with a few cherry tomatoes on top (among 'other not even seasoned, at least I would expect a marinade in garlic, oil and oregano) and another indecent one with a drizzle of oil. The rest all good. See you next time, maybe.

The tavern outside appears very characteristic, the owner and the waiters are a bit grumpy, but when we got the bill they gave us a discount respecting the term tavern. The food is really great.

Una comida muy agradable en un ambiente agradable y acogedor. Comimos aquí un viernes por la noche, que era evidentemente la noche de las familias locales, lo que hizo un ambiente encantador ocupado. El servicio era servicial y bueno.
Compartimos generosa y buena Bruschetta y un guiso de conejo muy sabroso e interesante, que ambos disfrutamos mucho. Una jarra de medio litro de Chianti Classico era buena relación calidad-precio, sonido y agradable.
