Excellent hospitality, friendly staff, and the chef's warmth and expertise.
The dishes were excellent and plentiful.
We tried the octopus as an appetizer, two first courses, including the fregola pasta, which was so abundant it seemed to regenerate itself as we ate it,
linguine with tender and tasty baby octopus.
Then the desserts: a violet Bavarian cream with a fabulous licorice coulisse, and a dark chocolate Bavarian cream with an orange coulisse.

A lunch that tastes of poetry, between Italy and Portugal.
I returned to Italy for only a few days, a short but intense visit to the family, and as often happens in these cases, I let memories and nostalgia guide my palate. I have lived in Portugal for many years, a land that I feel is my adopted home, and like a true Portuguese I have developed an absolute passion for seafood, for fish cooked with skill, in all its fascinating variations.
Entering the restaurant "La Mimosa", in the heart of Pinerolo, I was not simply looking for a meal, but an experience: a place where I felt welcomed, surprised, listened to. And so it was.
The environment struck me for its sober elegance, made of careful details, intelligently dosed lights, harmonies of colors that immediately create a feeling of well-being. The service lived up to the highest expectations: attentive, kind, never intrusive. But what made the lunch special most of all was the attentive and passionate presence of the owner, always available to enthusiastically illustrate the composition of each dish, recommending with grace and expertise the perfect wine to pair.
And there, in the heart of an inviting menu, I found my personal challenge: cod. I ordered it almost with a sort of ritual, as if throwing down a gauntlet. And I can say it without hesitation: it passed the test with full merit. Perfect cooking, full flavor, balanced, rich in memory and inventiveness. A dish worthy of any comparison, capable of fulfilling the expectations of a demanding connoisseur like me.
The rest of the courses? A crescendo of elegance and taste. The plating was a real treat for the eyes, the food exquisite, described with grace and expertise by the “premier maître de salle”, as if each dish were a little poem to be recited in a whisper. The wine, excellent. And when I thought perfection had already been achieved, an unexpected and very welcome gift from the house arrived: a sensational tray of cream puffs served generously before the desserts, as a sweet prelude to the conclusion of an unforgettable lunch.
It is not often that you feel that every element - from the welcome to the dish, from the kind voice of the staff to the intelligence of the wine choices - speaks the same language: that of passion. Here, everything was harmony, taste and warmth.

Questo ristorante è stata una gran bella scoperta e senz’altro diventerà una tappa fissa per me e mio marito.
Un giorno lavorativo qualunque , a pranzo , decidiamo di entrare.
Ci ha immediatamente positivamente colpito il calore con il quale siamo stati accolti da colui che poi scopriremo essere anche lo chef , o per meglio dire, il cuoco , come ha simpaticamente tenuto a precisare !
Siamo stati coccolati a partire dall’amuse bouche, (una deliziosa insalata russa) , al cestino dei pani , fino al ricchissimo vassoietto di dolci i a chiudere il pasto.
Tutto rigorosamente fatto in casa.
Il menù è piuttosto ristretto , e questo non è un difetto , anzi…..
Le portate da noi scelte ci hanno stupito per la qualità delle materie prime e per la sapienza con cui sono state esaltate , realizzando piatti belli , gustosi e leggeri.
Fantastica la catalana di code di gamberi , goduriosa la fregula sarda con frutti di mare (un piatto che vale il viaggio , dovunque voi siate !!!) , fino al tonno rosso del mediterraneo, semplicemente scottato.
E’ stata davvero una bella esperienza , che ripeteremo presto e che non possiamo che straconsigliare
