Esperienza piacevole e istruttiva grazie alle bellissime descrizioni e spiegazioni del sommelier Falcone, pietanze e vini buonissimi.

Arriviamo una domenica a pranzo, io molto ispirato e felice per la sorridente compagna che ha prenotato questo locale. E’ una domenica autunnale, foschia e nuvole basse, voglia di caldarroste e vin brulé, ma troviamo questa trattoria sul fiume, linda e pinta, curata nel dettagli e nei colori, prendiamo il tavolino nell’angolo e guardiamo l’acqua che frulla e scorre sotto il ponte, è un po’ una scena da film neorealista francese, il menu è infatti articolato e intrigante assai, scopriamo subito le poesie scritte sul muro e persino sul poggia-posate. Il cibo è buono, sopra le aspettative, buoni gli antipasti (sia le polpette che la bottarga) , buono il Wagyu e il coniglio, spettacolose le insalate, la torta di mele ed il mascarpone: tutto davvero superbuono. La cameriera Cristina è sorridente e solerte, il servizio è veloce, il conto è giusto, l’ambiente ha un fascino gradevole come le persone che lo frequentano. Chi è poeta ‘della domenica ‘ come me, non può che concludere questa recensione così: Sull’orlo d’un fiume s’affaccia d’incanto, è un posto leggero, di luce e di vento. Battete le mani, il cibo è un vanto, e lascia nel cuore un eterno momento. (come disse un uomo saggio: che cosa sarebbe questo paese senza poesia?).

We were passing through and stopped, it was an excellent choice! We took the meat tasting menu, excellent quality of food and beautiful presentation of the dishes. We also took a bottle of very good organic sangiovese. The environment is very welcoming and well furnished with background music that accompanies you throughout the lunch. The view of the river is also very beautiful.

The place is simply gorgeous. Our table was elegant and very spacious. Excellent food, with high quality raw materials. The tartare combinations were risky but the rest of the meal was spectacular: Pasta with sea urchins, wagyu meat and cannoli to die for. Too bad about the service, really too slow. The kitchen went into crisis because the place was full and we waited more than half an hour between one course and another. Prices in line with the quality of the dinner.

I was on Sunday for lunch, excellent restaurant. Entrees offered by the chef are good and well presented. Appetizers: Courgette flowers with olive oil, excellent Spring panzarella with octopus, with a hint of smoke, very good First: Spaghetti with cuttlefish ink and bottarga, the dish of the day, recommended if available on the day. "Artusi" depending on the availability of the day, today's ones were very good and citrusy, with the addition of quality mushrooms. Delicate, crunchy and tasty homemade cannoli zest. Impeccable service, friendly and helpful staff. Exceptional location on the river with a view of a glimpse of the medieval town.
