The kind Gennaro (the versatile owner of the eponymous osteria) and his cuisine make this restaurant a must-visit for anyone looking for excellent seafood. In the summer, they also have a beautiful (and often cool) terrace. I return often and it's always a pleasure.

Excellent food, truly made to order, with top-quality ingredients, fresh and homemade. I would perhaps improve the service a little, as it was a bit slow at times. But I'll definitely be back. The atmosphere is friendly and welcoming.

Just wow! This spaghetti alle vongole at Hosteria La Lasasaia was everything—tender homemade pasta and the freshest clams that taste just like the sea. Simple, authentic, and absolutely delicious. If you’re in town, you have to try this local restaurant

A safe haven to shelter when the sea of Roman catering is rough (read: the average quality is low, for tourists or residents not educated in good food). One of the rare places in Rome where I dare to order an amatriciana, but all the dishes are good. Excellent selection of selected wines, not the usual labels. The summer terrace is very pleasant. The room, in winter, is a bit noisy. The service can suffer a bit in case of crowding. Bill adequate for the quality.

Excellent restaurant where the seafood is truly cooked to perfection. The mussel soup is superb, the scialatielli Mussels clams razor clams and prawns also made with fresh and top quality ingredients, cooked very well. It is worth trying!!!! I recommend it and in my opinion the best of all Eur and Torrino

It's an osteria, the name says it all, but there's no osteria food here. The environment is open, the place isn't very big, but more than enough, even if to accommodate the many requests for tables, the available space is a bit limited. A bit noisy, certainly, but the environment is cheerful and informal, it's difficult to see long faces or overly polite people, although there's no shortage of designer jackets and ties and suits. That said: the food. The menu is inspired by the territory where the owner and chef Gennaro comes from, but not only Cilento and the Sorrento peninsula, with digressions, for desserts, also towards Sicily (cassatine and cannoli, exquisite to say the least). It's not a menu for the lukewarm. The flavors are full, the taste is strong, but everything is kept, well blended, seasoned, and the aromas and flavors are never invasive. I think the atmosphere and cuisine reflect the verve of Gennaro, a true host and chef, attentive and light-hearted, assisted in the dining room by his sister Michela, kind and helpful, like all the staff. If you are looking for a cozy atmosphere, this is not the place for you. As far as I am concerned, I am happy, especially dining in company. Another strong point is the terrace, open for the summer. I know, the hardened purists of sophisticated dining would always find some fault, but never on the quality of the food and hospitality. Prices appropriate to the food.

Siamo stati a cena in questo ristorante che abbiamo trovato per caso, ed è stata una bellissima scoperta! Pesce di altissima qualità, piatti eccezionali, personale che ti fa sentire a casa, soprattutto Michela e Gennaro due perfetti oste ed infine un rapporto qualità prezzo che che è stata la ciliegina sulla torta!
Lo straconsiglio, è diventato il nostro ristorante preferito!
