We stopped by this place on a walk through Venice. It was so beautifully lit with a patio of tables. The food was amazing matched with the service.

The restaurant was perfectly located in a peaceful corner. The staff was very friendly offering great recommendations for food and wine pairings. We recommend the tris veneziano and the spaghetti al nero di seppia! MUST GO!

We have been in Venice 4 days. We live for the food and plan day activities around the restaurants. La Lanterna did NOT disappoint! We had the best meal of the trip! Scialaticlli all’ astice! A meal to remember- thank you!

Duck ragu and fresh made pasta with lobster was incredible. We also had the mussels/clams to start. Excellent. Highly recommend. Great staff!

A truly wonderful experience. The qualified, friendly, and welcoming staff were extremely knowledgeable in explaining the menu and explaining the wine list. The menu was interesting and the wine list was comprehensive, including local wines.

The seafood spaghetti was especially good. The vongole was also good. The tiramisu and dessert of the day were also delicious. It's not cheap, but I gave it a good rating considering it's in Venice.

I think this is one of the best places in Venice for casual dining. Such a lovely athlete and friendly staff. The salmon was delicious. Definitely recommend
