A truly enjoyable experience. We'll be back. Crostinis are a must. Pasta is very good. Idyllic location, great terrace, and very friendly staff. Menu available in German and English upon request. It was fun. Bringing a dog is no problem 👍

La Gricia is located in the small mountain village of Caldana, far from mass tourism. Even the journey there is a highlight, climbing through picturesque winding roads and rewarding you with fantastic views along the way. La Gricia is small, with just a few tables, so it's advisable to make reservations, which can be made online. Everything is very clean and well-maintained. There's a small terrace at the back, nestled in the beautiful old town. Right in the middle of it all, rather than just by the side. You can't get more of a Tuscan feeling than this. The menu was in the appropriate language. It's straightforward, with just a few dishes, which we personally appreciate. We had the beef cheeks, thinly sliced ​​with a fantastic sauce and pan-fried green vegetables. The meat was so tender that it melted in your mouth and tasted exceptionally good. We also had tortelli filled with spinach and ricotta, melted in butter and sage. Naturally, the tortelli were homemade and also a taste revelation. We often go out to eat and are often dissatisfied, so I usually don't write a review. But I can recommend this restaurant to anyone who appreciates fine Mediterranean cuisine. Even the Michelin inspectors... (when will the star come?)

Cozy restaurant with excellent food. We were very well taken care of, the pasta ala gricia is highly recommended. But the other dishes were amazing too.

Ambiente confortevole e familiare. Piatti di carne eccellenti, guanciola insuperabile. Ottime la gricia e la cacio e pepe. Ritornemo sicuramente.
