Delicious place and traditional food prepared with love. The owner is a fantastic person, smiling, kind, very passionate about her work and definitely competent when it comes to wine. The place is welcoming, quiet, with atmospheric music in the background at a low volume so as not to disturb the diners. Even outside the environment is well looked after (with a truly pleasant panoramic view). Note of merit for the quail eggs with truffles and the peasant rabbit. Recommended 👍

I have been going to the Gattaiola for years when it was owned by Francesco, I have never had a bill like yesterday's, Sunday 21/12/2024, a plate of tagliolini with truffles, 35 euros exaggerated without even a bottle of wine between two, 145 euros, I don't think I'll go back

La Gattaiola, located in the small town of Fauglia, in the province of Pisa, is a restaurant that combines Tuscan tradition with a unique atmosphere. Located in a characteristic alley with a terrace overlooking a panoramic valley. Internally the restaurant is spread over two floors, with welcoming environments surrounded by the beauty of the vaulted bricks and the rock. In particular, we had the pleasure of having dinner in a suggestive cave, an intimate and fascinating place. We started with a classic Tuscan appetizer consisting of croutons, excellent quality local hams and cured meats. Afterwards, we delighted in a perfectly cooked and high quality cut. To conclude, the desserts were truly exquisite, noteworthy and prepared with great care. The only small note was an inconvenience upon arrival: they had not registered our reservation. However, the staff handled the situation quickly, finding a table for us and setting it up with courtesy and professionalism. This confirmed their attention to customers and made our visit pleasant and unforgettable. A culinary experience that we recommend to those seeking the true flavor of Tuscany.

Characteristic atmosphere, good food, service a little slow but the place was really packed and there were large tables, like ours. Our truffle dishes are all very good. Dessert included: a truffle tiramisu that I would happily eat again. Promoted!
