What can I say? The owner tried honestly and kindly—but when the side dish arrives at the café after the meal, it's difficult. The food gives the impression that it was pre-cooked and then quickly reheated—and it's too expensive for that.

We stopped at this lovely, welcoming place for a quick lunch. The food was excellent: we had the pici all'aglione and the tripe! It was mouth-watering! We'll definitely be back! :)

Never eaten tripe, and I'm Roman, and a peposo so good. Abundant and excellent quality cold cuts and cheese platter. Tasty and light mushroom soup...a ​​cloud in the mouth. Small, intimate tavern, kind and friendly staff. The owner at first may seem a bit...on his own but then...very nice. Very good quality/price ratio. We will be back soon. Highly recommended

We (2) were turned away at 1:40pm on a Sunday because we wanted drinks only. Plenty of free tables. Bizarre! The place looks nice anyway, in a great setting.

The restaurant is a small and welcoming place, the menu appears to have few dishes but made to perfection! Selection of cured meats and cheeses definitely worth trying, as are the meat main courses. The cuisine is home-made and authentic, so good that during our weekend in Abbadia San Salvatore we always had dinner here! Super kind and friendly staff, who make you feel at ease like being at home! I recommend booking in advance

Avendo mangiato benissimo qui le prime 2 volte, abbiamo deciso di venire qui la terza volta con i nostri carissimi amici. Abbiamo mangiato e bevuto benissimo, ritorneremo sicuramente con o senza gli amici.

06/07/2025: We ate really well, I put 4 stars because the service needs to improve from an organizational point of view, but I can't wait to go back. I hope to be able to change my review to 5 stars in a short time.
19/05/2025: Beautiful location, both the inside and the outside in the open air. The management comes from Zocca, so I ordered crescentine and borlenghi, they just opened and will start cooking with borlenghi next week. Substitutes with fried gnocchini very good and not greasy. They also have traditional dishes and menus, as well as spritz and aperitifs. Excellent red beer! The polite and attentive staff, the convivial owner. Excellent parking: 10/15 cars can fit, but it is open countryside, with common sense and education you can park anywhere. The 5th star for the food when I have tasted the borlenghi. Maybe when it just opened, it would have been a good move to offer a limoncino or a nocino, just to fuel a good memory, but it does not affect the overall judgment. Let's hope this management holds up, good luck!
