The food was good but for me, who loves frico, the proposed reinterpretations didn't make me crazy. I liked it but I wasn't crazy about it, but it was the only one open on Mondays.

Finding ourselves almost by pure chance at La ciacarada, we were extremely happy with the experience we had. First of all for the typical nature of the place, like a true Udine tavern from times gone by, given the retro style flooring and furniture; and secondly for the discretion, friendliness, professionalism and friendliness of both the owner and the rest of the staff. Absolutely no less important is the food, cooked with attention and skill and above all for the choice of fresh and high quality raw materials (just think of the raw ham platter and the cheese platter, which alone deserve a separate review). On Sundays they offer the mixed grill, with very juicy meat that melts in your mouth. The first course (amatriciana with speck) and the dessert ("classic" tiramisu) are also worthy of note. For the wine, take advice from the owner, who suggested the house refosco, which had nothing to envy, indeed, from the wines on the label, of which the tavern is very well stocked. Absolutely unbeatable price, both for the service provided and for the quality of the products received.

Recommended restaurant away from the main streets. Good cuisine, impeccable house wine, particularly friendly service. Good price-performance ratio. We were there on Sunday evening and felt very comfortable.
