Excellent, quiet, and sophisticated place. Unique recipes, clearly researched. The only drawback is that you have to be careful what you write on the menu. If you write an ingredient, you can't bring a different dish.

If you're looking for lunch, dinner, or a simple Udine aperitivo, near the center of Udine, in an Osteria with a rustic yet modern touch in its dishes...you're in the right place! Zero-mile, fresh, delicious products. Outstanding desserts (I recommend the lavender dessert). The outdoor garden is very pretty and welcoming. Emanuele and Pietro provide the perfect backdrop to all this wonder with their hospitality, helpfulness, and cheerfulness.

Siamo stati a cena qui dietro consiglio di un’amica. Il giardinetto è adorabile, abbiamo mangiato benissimo e sono stati tutti molto gentili, l’atmosfera è davvero accogliente. Il menù offre una scelta di piatti di stagione, tutti molto curati e presentati benissimo. Ci torneremo appena possibile, grazie per la splendida esperienza!

09/10/2025: Taverna al Pescatore is more than just a restaurant – it’s a dream waiting to be lived. Every time I visit, I’m reminded of my personal wish: to one day own a small boat, anchor it in the charming little port right in front of the restaurant, and make this place my daily ritual. Until then, I happily make the 30–40 minute drive from Bibione, escaping the long queues of touristy spots, just to enjoy the peace, the view, and the extraordinary food. Words can’t truly capture the feeling you get here – it’s something you have to experience. Whether it’s the Grigliata del Pescatore, the Risotto ai Frutti di Mare, or the Zuppa di Pesce, every dish is a celebration of the sea and tradition. We’ve tried them all – and we’ll keep coming back for more. Everything is simply outstanding. A solid 10+. Highly recommended. ... and I'm sorry I only gave it 5 stars... I'm still looking for the sixth... or seventh...:)
