Been just now. Excellent food, very good chef, excellent products, satisfactory service. The owner is a humble and exquisite person, very approachable and makes you feel almost at home. These guys really deserve to take off!! A hug and see you next time from the sorbet people! Kisses from Rome and good work!!!

It has very little about the tavern... instead it is a small restaurant at the foot of the Marmore Falls, very easy to reach and with a large car park. The environment is nice, pleasant and modern even if not very large, you will be welcomed like old friends coming back to spend time together, and it's beautiful! The cuisine is refined and the valorization of local resources is at the center of the menu. We took the platter of local cured meats and cheeses and we immediately understood that the attention to raw materials is at the highest levels, it was not "the usual cold cuts" but everything seemed to be special, and it was... Next we tried both the ciriole (it is a long fresh pasta made of water and flour that changes its name in the various municipalities of Umbria 😜) with Cacio Pepe and Truffles and with only truffles (right portions, well seasoned and well plated... really tasty) that the dumplings filled with ricotta and pears with ricotta, lime and ginger cream... An explosion of flavour! The filling had the surprise of the sweet crunchiness of the pear and the softness of the ricotta... the fresh pasta went perfectly with the freshness of the lime and ginger... Truly a taste experience worth having! A mention is due to the service, friendly but never intrusive, with the customer at the centre! Pampered and looked after quickly and always smiling! (despite the terrible heat of the day). Even the bill isn't exactly like a tavern, but it's money that you willingly spend because it's all good, made with love and you are treated really well. I'm sure we'll come back to try the rest of the menu... The La Cascata tavern is worth the journey (which is an hour from Rome between the motorway and the freeway, smooth and with few curves) and with the waterfall and Lake Piediluco in within walking distance it is easy to spend a special day between nature and excellent food. Well done, well done, well done!

We stumbled upon it by chance: we wanted to see the Marmore waterfalls at night and the restaurant is very close. We were seated on the terrace where the temperature was very pleasant. We ate very well and in a short time: excellent cold cuts as a starter, the first courses were very good and the steak was also good with excellent side dishes, all accompanied by an excellent wine offered by the kind and competent owner of the restaurant. Excellent experience: excellent raw materials served with kindness and attention. If we come back we will definitely be back. ...

Good local food, friendly service, it's July and it's hot and unfortunately it makes itself felt

We went for lunch on a Sunday in July. It's a small place so you need to book. Food all very good. Definitely recommended.

For the visit to the Marmore Falls I was looking for a non-touristy place and basically it is difficult to find it, so close to such a popular destination. But here it is. Friendly staff, excellent quality food. I recommend the excellent cacio e pepe with truffle and the extraordinary stuffed pasta topped with ricotta, pears, ginger and lime (fresh, sweet and sour, almost a pasta dessert). Highly recommended.

Io e la mia famiglia siamo stati in questo ristorante per festeggiare un 70°compleanno ed abbiamo trovato un personale disponibile e gentile, un ambiente intimo e accogliente...il cibo squisito e di altissima qualità e la proprietaria davvero affabile. Le cascate distano 200 m e sono visibili in lontananza dalla struttura!!! Grazie a tutti per la splendida giornata!
