Siamo tornati ad un anno di distanza e stavolta siamo rimasti ancor più contenti. Stavolta abbiamo mangiato dentro perchè fuori il tempo non prometteva bene. Ottimi primi: tagliatelle ai funghi e pappardelle al cinghiale. Passando ai secondi: deliziosi fagioli e salsicce, buonissima la provola filante al tartufo. A corredo anche i funghi fritti deliziosi. Poi un bel dolce alla crema fatto in casa. Personale cordiale,ambiente bello.

Osteria al Palchetto

31/12/2024: This is not the typical tourist restaurant but this is the real strong point. Delicacies to eat, helpful, polite and very kind staff. If you want to eat typical Sienese food and want to spend some relaxing time enjoying a good meal, this is the best place in Siena. Absolutely recommended.
30/11/2024: We came across this place by chance as it seemed less touristy than others... and we were right! The room is very simple and spartan, but perhaps, if you look beyond appearances, this is precisely the beauty of it. Lower prices than other taverns and good, genuine, simple food. Homemade but much appreciated service, pleasant and friendly staff if you stop for a chat. We felt authenticity and warmth.

07/01/2025: The atmosphere is superb, the service on a high level! The waitors very kind and proffesional. The food is very good also. Place is in the shade and has view on the main street. We enjoyed cold drinks and were just chillin.
28/12/2024: Best Gnocchi in Italy 🇮🇹 after spending 30 days in small towns...they had the very best gnocchi. Thank you John DaRe
