THE BEST OSTERIA DI MANTOVA. Without a doubt, finding this place was truly lucky. To start, all the waiters are lovely, fast, friendly and efficient. Special mention for the head of the room. We didn't have a reservation, but seeing how the place looked we begged them to let us come in and have dinner, since we didn't have a reservation but we would be quick. Fortunately they let us in and we were able to enjoy a wonderful experience. The food was delicious. The atmosphere is calm and homely. There were a lot of people working, with a smile and very good energy. The pasta and pizza were delicious. Authentic cuisine, faithful to Italian flavors. We were surprised by the price, since it is quite affordable. The quality of the food is splendid and the service wonderful. Without a doubt, we recommend it and if we return to Mantova, we will not hesitate for a second to return there.

I went on Saturday with friends who came from out of the area and we had a great experience. We ate well, the service was attentive and the location was very nice in the historic center of Mantua. I recommend it!

Abbiamo cenato in questa piccola osteria nel centro di Mantova. Personale molto gentile e competente. Cucina tipica, in alcuni piatti un po’ “ rivisitata” forse ma con gusto ed equilibrio. Prezzi nella media , non eccessivi.

We were in Mantua for a few days and wandering around the streets of the historic centre, we stopped one evening in this restaurant which immediately struck us because it wasn't the usual place with tourist menus, we were lucky to find a table for two because it was all full Beautiful location in a historic 15th century building From the start the welcome was fantastic, the kindness of the staff and the attention to the customer without being intrusive, we asked for advice on what to order and I must say that we couldn't have made a better choice... Homemade pasta, which takes you back to the Sunday lunches prepared by grandmother and cured meats with a unique flavour, not to mention the meat, Venetian liver which deserved an encore... every dish that even reached the neighbors at the table was "Mmmm that must be good too" In fact, when it was time to pay, we also booked for lunch the next day 😀 we absolutely had to taste the risotto alla mantovana before leaving, the prices are absolutely fair, in fact in Rome we spend more to get less quality I must compliment Matteo, a young but very knowledgeable and very kind owner and all the dining room staff, in particular Ivan who explained to us the preparation of each dish he served us. Stop by, or rather book now if you plan to stay a few days in those parts because it is always full and you won't regret it I recommend the risotto which is truly delicious 😋 and the pumpkin tortelli 🎃 exceptional

Chosen at the last moment they welcomed us with a smile and professionalism! An excellent Mantua-style creamed rice, an appetizer with excellent culatello and a good caponata! Excellent value for money. Friendly and quick service!!!

Mi sono recato in questo piacevole locale con amici in occasione di una visita a Palazzo Te. Il locale è posto su più piani, arredato in modo tradizionale nel senso positivo del termine. Anche i piatti sono della tradizione, di giuste porzioni e ben cucinati. Qualità/prezzo corretti. Ve lo consiglio !
