Very friendly staff and really good food. I took a cuttlefish appetizer, savory pie, Ligurian rabbit and brandacujun, as well as desserts. Advised.

Excellent quality of food and preparation in a typical Ligurian restaurant in the square of this delightful medieval village. Furthermore, I always really appreciate places that set the table with a tablecloth! Thank you!

07/09/2024 - Dinner for six in the center of that medieval jewel that is Finalborgo. The stop in the small outdoor area of ​​"La Botte Gaia" allowed us to appreciate not only the quality of the food - worth mentioning on the menu (not very long but appetizing) are the savory pie, the brandacujun, the fassona steak and the wheel of cheeses - but also the cleanliness of the place and even more so the education and kind thoughtfulness of the young and attentive staff. Short wine list but with good references (the Cabernet Sauvignon from Altùris is interesting). A place to frequent and to recommend with absolute tranquility.

Location piccola ed accogliente.... I camerieri molto carini e cordiali. Piatti coerenti per un.osteria...semplici ma ben cucinati, serviti rapidamente. Ottimi anche i dolci. Prezzi un pochino elevati...ma in piazza a finalborgo...ci stanno.

Tutto corretto, dal servizio ai piatti, ma niente di memorabile. Da provare se sì vuole stare in piazza a finalborgo. Prezzi leggermente alti, intorno a noi infatti hanno condiviso le portate.

La Cucina dei Pignuin

04/02/2025: A journey of flavours, obviously based on fish, will make you fully understand what it means to mix passion and tradition. The dishes are prepared with care and attention, the appetizers chosen were excellent, in particular the mussels marinara style, I was forced to finish them with the slipper dipped in the sauce which was fantastic to say the least. Followed by the first courses, a barbecue for two, nothing short of spacey, a bit of everything and plentiful. The fish is very fresh, the best in the area without a doubt. Last but not least, the great service, they are very attentive to the customer who surely will have nothing to say about this. Everything is managed impeccably, you will not miss anything and you will be well accompanied thanks to the attention and courtesy of the staff.
05/01/2025: For the past five years we have been stopping at least twice a year. Excellent food, service and environment. Advise!
